This one came in yesterday’s delivery. Yeah it’s a snap together and pre painted, but I’ll still glue it and do some additional work… It looked pretty nice when I opened it up and examined the parts… I have a plan for this one!

I am way behind on acknowledging everyone's new additions this year. I am duly impressed with what has been acquired by the members so far. Really fantastic kits that I hope to see featured here on MSC soon. Superb effort to all. I have only added one thing so far this year with the X-mas cash I received. After having seen Brian and Joe's recommendations I pulled the trigger on a Dispaie mini grinder and bits. I have yet to put it to actual use, but I like what came out of the box. WOW! I always wanted this but I am not sure if it is worth the money but now Brian and Joe swear those are great so I will definitely grab one too.

Can't wait to see it built because Luke has been anxious to destroy more tie fighters!

Good evening all I hope you are all well? So better late than never I thought I'd share my Christmas gifts (below).....I've been waiting for a few to arrive from Poland, hence the delay. ACW as usual Andrew ------------------------------------------------ First up, this from work. In recent years we've been given a hamper.....this year we got the pre-paid debit card pre-loaded with £45! ......which allowed me to treat myself to this! Then of course there was the obligatory chocolate......and believe it or not I only finished the Toblerone earlier this week and haven't even opened the Hotel Chocolat bar!! A for the 'main' gifts, my wife and I agreed to a limit for each of us.....her's is going on a trip to the Big Apple next year......some of mine went on some essentials.... .....with the rest going on some extravagances I would not normally buy. The stowage was actually free as I had a lot of reward points the Polish shop I got it and the barrels from... ...there was though some money still left in my allowance......and so what I'd spent on these just before Christmas from my modelling fund was transferred to my Christmas spend!! However, THE best gift by far was from my teenage daughter......out of her part time pay, she bought four tickets for a family trip to see Michael McIntyre (he's one of the UK's best known comedians in case you've not heard of him). According to his website, he's currently 9 months into a 15 month world-ish tour. We going to see him at one of the UK's largest indoor arenas, in London.....the capacity is 20,000.....and he's doing five nights there alone, which gives you an idea of how big he is.........and more importantly just what a generous gift it was!!

Google is not being helpful. So are these basically just very compact cordless Dremel tools, more of an engraver or something else?

Mail call today. I was curious about the 3D printed parts from MCV Products (Mathew, from Model Car Videos), so I picked up a couple of small items. The two air cleaners and distributors are from his shop. The saw was an eBay purchase. I’ve been needing something like this for a while now.

Whoa! They all are great kits especially the P-38… great score! Sad to see another person leaving the hobby for good. At least the kits are in very good hands now.

Joe - this thread convinced me to give them a try forums.kitmaker.net/t/sprue-cutter-showdown/16243Brassman (better name lol), nice haul. Just finished the p-51b - nice kit. Did the p-47 bubble top a bit ago - brilliant kit. I have the razor back and the p-38 (j) in the stash - all beautiful kits. Curious how the fiat build goes.

A big package from Hannants landed in my office at lunch today! Some odd looking kits: And a bunch of aftermarket to get a number of stalled projects moving again: The Shilka is actually for a friend - I was shocked at how fiendishly expensive a little 1/72 armor kit can be. I hope it's the bee's knees and goes together well.

He has quite a few other kits up for grabs. I think he’s still planning on building some, but has slowed down to the point to where he’s just wanting to get rid of some. There were a few other kits I wanted, but my stash is already at like 3+ years worth of kits lol.

Fantastic haul Keith. Unfortunate that a fellow modeler feels they have to cut back on their stash. The P-38 definitely is notable for its quality. I have built the P-47D (currently a shelf queen) and I consider that kit to be one of the top kits out there. Absolute joy to build.

I see that you got some dandy goodies for your Fw-190. Well done brother.
