This is what I've acquired over the past month or so. I was out in civilization the other day so I picked this up for the Open Wheel GB I'm getting a head start on my New Years Resolution to make 2025 the year I include an air brush in my tool arsenal. I'm going to put in a real effort to using an air brush. I've tried in the past and it just hasn't stuck. I've been watching videos and then to make sure that I am the problem I ordered the H&S Ultra in early September. For good measure I picked up a Gaahlari GHAD-68 when it went on sale for Amazon Prime days last week. Also got some straining funnels, a paint mixer, some small plastic cups to mix paint in and some pipe cleaner things. No excuses air brush in 2025 or bust. and some misc chemicals for home brew paint additives. I mostly paint with acrylics so the the alcohol pads are for wiping down parts before paint to help eliminate any residual oils.

Very good for such a reasonable price. ATB Andrew

I have had that kit in my hands in the store a dozen or so times and always put it back for some reason or another.

Thanks, I looked at a lot of airbrushes, but I really like that the Ultra basically offers training wheels without hindering its use once you learn to run it well. The Gaahlari airbrushes were already on my list but when the price dropped to $50 on the trigger style I couldn't resist. If nothing else it seems to me the trigger style will be nice to have for priming large items or many doing many items.

I have had that kit in my hands in the store a dozen or so times and always put it back for some reason or another. I know what I'm going to do with it. But I'm going to need a second kit. I recently read the book Panzer Ace and the author described one of the Tiger II under his command slid down a ditch. Luckily the recovery team had two 18ton prime movers and was able to pull it out. I'm currently sourcing figures and trying to find another Famo cheap

Thanks to you tube I found hobby shop about a ten minute train ride north of Akihabara. The gunpla selection was a bit lack luster but the civil vehicle selection was mind blowing! I ended picking up the Sambar and Beetle but it was hard to leave with just these two (sorry Fujumi GTI, next time!). The GTR I picked up at the Tamiya showroom.

My friend Riki who joined us at the hobby show sent me a funny captioned pic of that new-tool, old skool Gundam. It read “You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.” So now Bandai needs to do an old-skool Zaku to counter this so-called peak performance!

I pre-ordered my first MFH kit. Price seemed relatively reasonable. It's a 1/20 kit and should ship end of the month. Very excited to sample the crack
