Thanks, guys! I realized I totally forgot the PE on the right console so I added that. The next step is the gun bay/rear engine area. Everything fitting well so far. Don't know what the pipe is that comes out from between the ammo magazines. It doesn't seem to connect to anything and the instructions don't show anything either. Vent pipe of some sort maybe? 109s I know what everything is but 190s I have no clue and no references. Getting closer to closing up the fuselage. The exhausts are in. The gun bay/rear engine assembly is in with really nice fit. The cockpit seems like it might need a little more effort so that's for tomorrow. My wife is out of town for a few days so it's been pretty much all modelling this weekend. Superb looking detail Jay! As far as the line in question, Joe and I scoured about looking for an answer for you. My very best dart throw is it is the MW50 line (50/50 water methanol mix) going to the supercharger. I'm including a diagram for you and whoever else may want the info. Thanks, fellows, and thanks for the research! I agree with the MW50 pipe. I realized that the end will be under the front cowling which is probably why it doesn't seem to go anywhere currently but is on the supercharger side of the engine. As I suspected installing the cockpit and getting the fuselage closed was where the good fit ended. I had to scrape away at least half a mm of the gun deck underside to get the lower instrument panel to fit squarely with it. At that point I glued the rear fuselage halves together without really checking the front fit thoroughly. Couldn't even come close to get them to come together. It appeared to be an issue with the box for the exhaust so I was able to get enough room to get the Dremel in there and grind away some of the bulkhead to get some clearance. I thought it was enough so committed to glue. Still had a gap at the bottom but decided to check the lower wing fit before doing anything else which turned out to be a good move. The width was actually perfect so I just put a shim in and cleaned everything up, restored the rivets and good to go. I did have to sand down the wing spar also to able to get the lower wing to fit. Cheers, Jay ![](https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/ae122/tucohoward/20240108_170534.jpg) ![](https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/ae122/tucohoward/20240108_202859.jpg) ![](https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/ae122/tucohoward/20240108_202846.jpg) ![](https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/ae122/tucohoward/20240109_170042.jpg)

Surprising the fit was that far off but it looks like you solved that just fine. In the big picture it sounds like you fixed a potential wing root gap with the spacer as well

Yeah Brent and I talked on the phone about that pipe which took quite a bit of going back and forth before Brent found what looks like is it with the MW50 pipe.
Looks like you got everything to work out alright Jay. Sucks when we have to grind this and shim that to get everything to play nice but it looks like you whupped 'er into some good shape buddy.

Jay you are kicking butt with this bird! As far as the fit issues you have had I had heard rumblings about this especially the wings to fuselage. Your fix looks perfect and you already have color on!

Oh this one is fighting you a bit! Yikes! Gonna take some improvising to fix these speed bumps that you're hitting.
The thing inside the cowling opening is a coolant radiator. The radial engined 190's had a fan in that location.

You're doin' more than fine on this one Jay. Somewhere I had a reference to spacing the fuselage out to the wings by way of inserting a section of sprue between the fuselage halves directly below the cockpit tub to take care of the fuselage to wing gap that plagued these early Eduard 190's. Still looking for it. This is looking pretty dang good bro.
