Thank you all so much! I can in fact see the finish line on this, still some hurdles to go over, one being a few figures to go with this. Started on the weathering, great thing about oils is I can come back to this tomorrow evening with fresh eyes and continue to work the rust colors on the ship. Doing such a large area has been a challenge

Been awhile since I tuned into your 222 and I find that you have been doing some flat out incredible work. You have achieved some really stunning results with your painting, detailing and weathering. Really stellar work.

Every little addition you make is wonderful. Your weathering and detailing are balanced perfectly throughout this build.

Very nice! Are you going to do the early DAK mud camouflage over the Dark Gray?

Very nice! Are you going to do the early DAK mud camouflage over the Dark Gray? Nope, just panzer grey straight off the boat with a bit of salt spray weathering and a little dried mud in the wells from Europe

Many early war vehicles arrived North Africa with its original factory paint so the crew had to paint them down there. Everything really looks great!!!

I'm having difficutly putting into words to describe the great modeling work that I'm seeing here Clint. Just superb work throughout and love what you're doing with these oils you're using. I've never used oils but after seeing the results that you and others are getting out of 'em, I'm definitely wanting to give them a try when it comes my turn to build an armor subject.

You should really give them a try, you can work them foe hours and one tube can last dozens of models since just a little dab of paint can go a long way

Sweet! I love the dust and dirt in the fender undersides!
Do you have crew figures for this?

Thank you all so much! Now I seem to have a problem, exactly how to hang this. I was originally going to attach it to the top of the dust cover I will make for it but have been told that I wouldn't be able to take it to a IPMS contest since all dust cover must be removed, even if I make it where all sides can be removed leaving the top in place. So any ideas guys?

Some more work done on the 222. Got the lifting fixture built and right off the lasor engraver the DAK emblem that will be on the back side of ship to make the diorama look a bit more finished Good grief man. The good work is just non-stop on this build Clint. That backdrop is perfect for this and that lifting fixture puts it over the top. As for the IPMS contest........I'd have to do some thinkin' on that one. Some of their rules/ guidelines are a bit confusing and a bit too much at times.....but.....that's a discussion for later I guess. Right now you need help with figuring what you're up against out. I can help out by bumping this one back up top a few times so more folks see it.
