I have the AMT Duster and a VCG resins 340/ 4 speed for it, need to make a scatter shield . I plan on having opening trunk so that nitrous, roll bar can be seen. The paint will not be fun, as the orange is candy tangerine with hidden highlights and silver striping.

We can always make adjustments to the time factor if needed Rich.

Sort of like the quintessential project car, just not in 1:1. Neat project.

Clean plate to start, here we go. It’s going to be tight, lots of work to go on this one, plus in the middle of 2 other builds.

Ya, I have one on pre-order through Hobbynutmodels. I know these will sell out fast and then get stupid expensive online from scalpers.

Red Duster interior in there just to hold stuff in place. It will be getting a pro street interior tub. It took a bunch of file work just to get it to this point.

I then scribed the trunk lines over and over again with a #11 blade to remove trunk lid without breaking window trim, as there is no Dutchman panel.

Good work on that back window and trunk lid Rich ( moparman18064 ). I know you must've been sweating bullets on getting both of those pieces out of there and still retain that lower window frame/ body strip. Yeesh!!

Working on trunk gutters, I still have some shaping, weatherstrip channel to install, but getting there. I used .040 styrene strip on quarter panel edges and below rear window trim to get depth. I then used a sheet of .020 cut to shape from a cardboard template for main gutter. I will run .010 strip along edge for weatherstrip run.

That looks great Rich. You've got some stones bro, because these are waters I haven't ventured into as of yet. Nicely done.

Thanks Joe, yes, it was quite flimsy and the body kept flexing. Luckily, I do have patience.
