Thank you. I ran out of the 7/32 Evergreen tube, can’t go any further until Thursday now, unless I use aluminum. I started back on the engine again

Love the work you’ve done around the trunk opening. All the shapes added for water channels look spot on! Also digging the scratch building you’re doing on the roll bar. 👍

Cage is configured. I wanted to do it in all aluminum tube, but main hoop would not cooperate. I tried inserting styrene rod, bending around round item, just kept kinking. Annealing was out of the parameters, so for main hoop it is styrene. The interior and the paint are going to be the most involved part of this build( besides headers🤬), so this will be a longer process. Much more to come

A little update, one of the surprises, this is the actual panel that will be used where the back seat originally resided. I am using aluminum sheeting for that panel, and the door panels. This model is getting very rear heavy now

Now there's some pipe fitting! Aluminum is not too good for bending, I've had better success with annealed brass tube, or solid brass rod for tight bends.

Missed these last few updates Rich. I like the way that engine turned out and your work on that roll cage is "all that" bud. I can only imagine that this car is getting pretty a$$ heavy with all the parts and work that you're putting into that area. Looking forward to more on this bud.

A little more progress, made trunk hinge and mounted. When making the trunk gutter, I had planned this out. I had built up a ledge that would not show below the rear window about .090 thick that would not break or twist with hinge. Pictures show test fitting with body and cage to make sure everything clears properly. I will incorporate the tubes on trunk lid to blend in to trunk lid structure.( more weight on rear yet)

You have been a scratch work building machine since I checked in with this build last. I like the interior mods and cage you've added
