Looks like you pulled off the mother of all schemes with this one Rich! Dude that looks GREAT man. Don't worry about all the details bud.....if you can pull off a scheme like that....you've got the details in the bag. Thank you, it came a long way. Your paint work looks fantastic! I can't wait to see the rest of the details you pack into this Thanks, yes plenty more details to come. The fuel system alone will have a ton of details.

Man.....that thing looks just perfect. Thank you Joe. I haven’t even started to polish yet. The clear laid down perfectly, I might not even polish, we will see. I ran out of time to mess with it much, as copperhead season is in full swing here, trying to keep everything down so dog and wife are safe( I do have 5 acres to attend to). As for the Demon, I’ve been fighting with the headers, as they just won’t fit at all. I’ve managed to break the fan, pcv, breather, oil filter adapter and pulled plug wires out of distributor while wrestling engine back and forth. I attempted to lengthen the tubes, cut downtubes, now attempting to make them fresh from solder. In the real car, the driver’s side front tube had a slip joint and one tube had steering linkage go in front of it. It used to take me 4 hours to change the starter due to headers and Lakewood scattershield! I don’t see me making the June deadline, maybe July sometime.

Love the shine on this! Hopefully you can get back on it again soon.
Years ago the starter went out on my 73 Cuda. With the cheapo aftermarket headers on it one of the counter guy's I knew at the parts store bet me a starter at half price if I could get it out without dropping the header. I actually did it, but I wouldn't want to try doing that again. When I rebuilt the engine I took great pleasure in getting rid of those stupid things

Now the question.....did you end up getting the starter at half price?

Every counter person at the parts store I went to had to have mechanic skills to get a job there so they knew what they were doing. Good luck finding that now

Just the typical questions now while looking at the computer screen.....2WD or 4WD? With or without Power Steering? .....etc......

I just got my new grilles from Few Sprues Loose on EBay. These are so much nicer than the resin grille that came with kit. I also got a 71 Demon grille, 70 Duster grille and Mopar inner door handles. The grille kits even come with the marker lights to do conversion WOW!!! I missed this when you posted it Rich but I'm going to have to check these guys OUT!! Some very nice pieces to work with right there and thank you for posting this.

It’s been a very busy month, just had 6 U- Boxes show up yesterday from FIL’s house, still don’t know where to go with it. Could you possibly extend time on my build since it is so involved?

Started fitting windows, I am using front windshield from 71 Demon kit. There was no way the rear one from Demon kit would work due to all the trunk/ window area mods, so I did a bunch of filing and sanding to 71 Duster rear window. I test fit chassis/ interior to make sure it all works together. I also did the headlights in the new grille using Molotow behind and around edges.
