Very impressive painting and weathering. This and the other two here on MSC are top notch and some of the best 109's I've seen in a while.

Unfortunately I don't know any acceptable way to depict the spinning prop.
That's why I will never make a flying plane.

thanks a lot fellas, glad you all like it, feels good to know jackwagon, I hear ya on the subject. Probably it isn't often done since one has to put the aircraft on a support piece or even on a piece of wire on the ceiling or so. Concerning the figs, yeah, that's a hard one and a pitty really. I searched for a long time untill I came across a suitable figure: the Adolf Galland one by FineMolds, it isn't bad but it's an old one (1998) Well, gave the bird a matt coat today (ModelMaster Flat, superb varnish!!!!) and after that I added some small thingies, the cockpit, wire (EZ-Line) and the wheels were added as well (sorry jackwagon ;D). Just some streaking to be done and she's finished... Hope I can finish the groundwork, figure and bird by sunday evening ;D Cheers

Hiya Wouter, apologies for not posting often, but I have been watching! Simply stunning build my friend . Love the effect you've achieved with the mottle. The camo colours blend nicely and the whole airframe looks superb in the satin finish. Looking forward to the dio

Lui.....Like a photograph....just catch a moment in time.... As you can see, there's some blur that starts from about 1/3 of the spinners and gets more heavy as you get the tips. If you put them still, to me it looks as a plane whose engine is off... Great job Wouts, it's a treat

Glad you like it Luigi, thanks mate jackwagon and CB, thanks gents! And CB, you are right, they had a satin finish ;D made a start with the groundwork and painting Adolf. I was playing with the set-up. Can't decide which one I prefer...what do you fellas think? This one: or this one? Cheers Cheers

WOW!! Woutmeister you never fail to impress! Outstanding job my friend! I think the one with Adolf walking form aft of the wing, to me it looks a little more natural.

nope mate, it was his birthday present, he turned 60 last monday, and since he has a past in the aviation sector (Sabena, former boss of the airport of Antwerp (Deurne) I thought a bird would be a suitable present. And this is much more interesting than an airliner, he agreed with me. But I did have two shots of champagne...luckily I didn't have to work that night ;D
Cheers
