I've noticed the engine on your bench in a few of your wip pictures. They should be the cherry on top of this with the detail they have!

The engines are now mounted. There are still a couple of plumbing lines yet to be placed. They could not be glued in place until the engines were mounted. I also got the struts for the tail taken care of. I am still working on placement of the starter cranks. The starboard radiator is a bit misaligned. I hit the outboard mounting point with some Tamiya extra thin cement. It loosened everything up enough, that I was able to properly seat the radiator. That was after this picture was taken, which helped me realized the alignment issue.
Cheers Dave

There's been a fair bit of progress today. The biggest leap was the mounting of the upper center wing section. The exhaust pipes are also painted and mounted. The exhaust color was built up with multiple colors in very light coating. This is the center wing section, upside down. These are the copper fuel lines that feed and drain the 25 gallon fuel tank. Upper center wing section mounted. Not only is this thing going to be wide, but dang tall! I am very happy with how the exhaust turned out.
Cheers Dave

Wow Dave!! Some incredible details. Love the exhaust and that copper piping is awesome too. Thank you kindly! For the copper tubing I used AK True Metal paint. Right now, I need to get some rigging done before I can proceed with any further assembly. Cheers Dave

The rigging skill set got the scale blown off today. I used EZ Line extra fine for the initial rigging. The first two pictures are of the airplane upside down. The first is the port side, and the second is the starboard side. This was all the bandwidth I had today for rigging. This pic is aircraft right side up, and looking up under the port side.
Cheers Dave

This part and getting the top wings squared away and firmly attached are the two parts that have made me hesitant about ever touching a biplane. Beautiful work.

This part and getting the top wings squared away and firmly attached are the two parts that have made me hesitant about ever touching a biplane. Beautiful work. Thank you kindly. WnW kits wings just about align themselves. Other kits, I’ve used inverted box tops with something to keep the fuselage level. Once the glue has fully set/cured, then I’ll start handling the kit for rigging, decals etc. As to the rigging, slow and steady wins the race. Cheers Dave

Wing rigging has commenced on the center portion. Sorry for the dark pics. I ended up needing a white back drop to capture the rigging, and ended up having a heck of a time with the digi camera. I just need to run a couple pieces of rigging on the port side and leading edges, then on to assembling the outer wing panels.
Cheers Dave
