I know what you guys are going to say......."Another CeeBee build that'll end up on the shelf"......But what the hey,I'll start this anyway! ;D The Lynx has been in service,in various guises, since the mid '70's,and the one I'm hoping to bring you,is the latest? Navy version. First off,the box art Then sprue shots As with all the new releases from Airfix nowadays, the detail is as good as any, with very little flash, just some over heavy sprue attachments. 1 clear sprue And finally a choice of 3 aircraft Danish Navy German Navy, and finally,Royal Navy I hope you'll join me in trying to put this together!!! ;D

Boots, good to have you aboard mate, and yeh,you gotta get an Apache sometime! Boss....after your comment in SUWYG earlier, who am I to refuse?? ;D Anyway,I've been a bit of a busy bunny today, and this is where we are at. Started in the cockpit, and then added the main cabin.CP is assembled, but the back wall, and roof are dry fitted. I then carried on and tidied up the fuselage halves, drilling holes, hopefully in the right places, for the RN variant, and came up with this, again dry fitted to test... The eagle eyed amongst you, will see I test fitted the glass as well. Thats all folks.....ACW as per the norm.....

According to what little digging I've done so far,the Kriegsmarine use it primarily for ASR,and anti piracy,so the main weapon is the .50cal in the door.I haven't found out yet,if they use it for ASW,or anti surface. The RN ASW version carries either Torps,Sea Skuas,or depthcharges,I assume in any combination,as pairs on each side...
