Hey Chris, Me? Take the 'pith'? NEVER! ;D Don't write off Revellogram too soon mate. They actually do some great kits, especially in 1/48, and they have a pretty good reputation for getting the details right. A lot of their newer kits are absolutely superb. I have 2 of their Strike Eagle kits and they are the best in the game bar none. The burner cans on my F-15 Aggressor Eagle were pinched from that kit and they are built OOB. I have had people ask me if they were resin! Plus, if you want to do a Hind in 1/48 they are pretty much the only game in town...... Cheers, Sam

Steve.....these new Airfix kits are good, generally. Not up to Tammy for fit yet,but they're getting a lot better. Dan....If the decs are as good as they look,I shouldn't need much Sol/Set. ;D Boots, the Rotary section IS new!....and cheers mucka for the positive vibes, man!! Sam....cheers mate, and I know Revell have upped their game, but I'm still not entirely convinced!!..But if ya see a 1/48 Hind kicking about, give us a shout will ya? ER....Oh man,I WISH!!! ;D ;D .....If I get close to Jamies,I'll be ecstatic!!!!!! Anyway chaps, hopefully I'll have an update for ya,before the weekend. Real life work has been manic !!!!!!

John,Bob,thanks for the comments,fellas....they are appreciated ;D Well Gentlemen.....after a not very welcome hiatus from modelling, the Mojo is creeping back, albeit slowly!! I paid a visit to Nemos today, after a few chats with him,and I got stuck into laying some paint on this lady... As usual, first up was primer And when me and Dicky were happy with that...the basecoat went on.... One happy modeller!!!! Next up,I'm gonna forego the normal gloss coat, and start setting the decals in place, reason being, the finish is smooth enough,I shouldn't have problems with the decs silvering, especially using the trusty Sol/Set method.....Wish me luck??? ;D
