Interesting kit Chris I'm looking forward to you putting this one together, it's good to see Airfix producing kits like this one and do you get any crew with it?

As some of you may have seen,I picked up a decal set for the Black Cats,Royal Navy display team www.royalnavy.mod.uk/blackcats.htmI thought this would be better than the ANW version(Anti NEMO warfare)..more colour.. Would love to post update pics, but PB ain't playing the game... See ya later fellas..

Good evening MSC'ers......after a very prolonged absence from this beauty,I decided I ought to get me backside in gear, and get her finished. The piccies to come are what I promised previously(if you can remember that far back!! ).Anyway..here ya go.... I have to say,I'm not entirely happy with the engine intakes... They will most probably get covered by FOD screens. The undercarriage on the Navy Lynx,is set at an angle,to prevent movement when landing on board ship.... Airfix have made the kit so that if your careful, these can remain movable. The main and tail rotors have also been thrown together,so there are just a few bits and bobs to fit undeneath, and we should be ready for a visit down to Nemos MC,for a drop of paint.. ;D ;D...Oh almost forgot,I will be redoing the seatbelts, they are not correct to my refs... As usual ACW..... ;D Edit....something else I forgot...the decs I'm gonna be using... ;D

Cheers Sam,and good of ya to look in,mate ...These new Airfix kits are good,I have to say...although this one needed a bit of trimming and filing in a few places,to get the fuselage together...

Hi Chris, Yes, I must admit, for a long time I was never the biggest fan of Airfix (sacrilegious, I know!) but over the years they have really gotten their act together, and some of their latest stuff is simply gorgeous! Look forward to yours coming together! Cheers, Sam

Ta Robbo ;D.....OK....small looking update, but a big one as far as I'm concerned.....'cos I had serious thoughts about giving up this hobby, over the last coupla days. Had an exchange of PM's with Nemo, and give meself a slap round the face, and a freakin good talking to,and here I am.... ;D ;D Ok reason I'm here...I wasn't happy with the seat belts moulded in the seats.. Bad pic,but you see what I mean.. I had a ref piccie, from one of me books showing this..... FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY.... So I took the seats out surgically, and made some belts out of Tammy tape, and some fuse wire, and this is what I got.. So..both seats have been modified and refitted....seat looks better without being magnified!

Great work there CB, love the Lynx. Only ever in AAC ones, so maybe some day ill take the box to the till instead of putting it back on the shelf, the tiger stripe scheme on this will look sweet. Know how you feel, haven't been near the bench in weeks, and though of throwing the head up several times. Looking forward to Seing paint on it, keep it coming.
Chris.

nice work on the seat looking good, I have seen those intakes replaced with some mesh and plastic strip which looks better than the clear item.
