Hey chaps as some of you know i have recently moved and have aquired a new mancave when viewing this place the garage had been converted into a small photography studio but the previous owner had knocked down the partition wall and door to turn it back into a garage so as soon as getting the keys and had moved in i could not wait to get the wall and door back up so here are a few piccys of how it stands now the walls have been painted workbench made partition wall insulated so its nice and toasty ;)more mods will be done as time goes by next up will be the flooring. view from the bottom of the garden side door into garage inside view workbench with my latest builds under construction Gongs cabinet Photo booth Dan B

A lot of great looking caves! My cave is located in my basement off the family room. It's about 7x24 and is functional, but has way to much crap in it so it always looks cluttered. Here goes: Looking in from the door: Gotta, put them somewher to keep furrballs from forming: Work table with the Whirlwind on the desk and the OV10 in the paint booth. I built the paint booth with an exhaust fan and vented it out the window. The paint booth also doubles as a photo booth when I add posterboard and aim the lights: My super enthused and highly supportive avid modeling companions:

So you are just an Italian colonist? I googled... your country is not part of Italy government. Man, I have so much to learn! With your permission, can my wife and I visit you one day so we can learn more about your little island and of course help you clean your bench?

As far as you will keep you hands off my bench, you're welcome We're part of the government, yet we're so few that the central government doesn't care much about us.

I deliberately chose to show the bench with a nearly completed build. Each time I start a new one, I clean the bench. That's the way it looks in the end, I tend not to clean much during the build

Thanks Steve & Bull. Steve I had gotten the cabinets from Sears about 7 years ago and they are made by "Ulti Mate" Garage. I do like them but I did have to add bracing to the shelves in the large cabinets to better support weight. Being that they are in a garage, the humidity was making the shelves sag in the middle and they were collapsing =(. Lowes carries some metal ones which are similar in design. These ones are basically particle board with laminate over top. The hanging cabinets and base cabinets have been fine though. All in all I do like them. I also build and work on cars in the garage so the metal ones would be more realistic for me but these work perfectly fine since I beefed them up a little Mike

Definitely check out the ones from Lowes... The are metal... Decent gauge on the metal and they have a lot more features such as shelves that are movable and tool holders and such

Nice set-up there Kaktus a great bonus having a dedicated photo area Yeap, it really makes it easier when you just grab your camera and model, and take a photo.
