Me too Chris ;D ;D Here are a few pics of the still wet earth and muck effects. I will just post a few pics here and will then do an SBS on the Painting Category. The wheels and tracks got dirtied p as well. Once everything is dry I will continue with the next step. More to come folks.

Thanks T. It's a bit dark because it's still wet. it'll be a lighter earth color when dry. Hoping to get more done tonight, if not then there is always tomorrow

Cheers fellas, glad YOU like it. I'm not happy with it as it didn't turn out the way I wanted it. That's what I get for doing it different than I normally would. I left out the acrylic resin and white glue so now it looks like mud/muck and lost it's texture. Oh well, I'll do it my normal way next time round.
Will get some pics up later.
It's a great kit Mence...go for it bro.

It has a realistic appearance Rob, I like it. Can't you rework it a bit the way you like it more ? I wait for the pics, then maybe I understand better...

thanks G, it's all dry now with layers of earth effects on already. I posted in the Painting Category the SBS. I will add the pics of the other weathering steps later...need to add some wet mud effects then she's done....at least the hull part. Wheels and tracks still to finish.

Here is where she stands at the moment, not only did the 152 get mucky but so did the work bench ;D Using different AK earth effects I added some depth to the mud and muck. The last step was to create fresh damp/wet mud and muck using the fresh mud and wet effects. A SBS has been posted in the Painting Category. I am still amazed at what can be done with the AK Products...and it's just plain fun experimenting too. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for sharing !!!

The science of mud spatter!!! Many might find it boring, but not tank modellers!
I got to say that the way it turned out in the last photos looks real good mate! Especially that airbrush-blowing-through-a-paint-brush spattering technique, dark mud over lighter mud. Brilliant!!!
Cheers JT

Hiya Dan. Thank you for the comment and tips both here and on the SBS. The ground tea is a very good idea bud. I have all sorts of material I use for earth / soil. I only used a teeny amount on this model because I wanted more muck than soil. As for the enamel gloss, The wet effects work the same way.I only mixed a little bit on the first go, another wetting will be done when the wheels and tracks are that far a long.
Again, thank you for the feedback , very much appreciated Dan.

It looks like real mud Rob, also the splashes add interest to it. The vegetation in the mud is a good addition, like it !

Hey Iain
the impacts still need to be worked. Good idea tho bro. My thoughts, impacts first then the mud. Or impact-mud-impact mud........lol either way it's fun...when I can get the bench time.
