Gosh! Many responses... this is why I really enjoy posting my WIP here. Really appreciate you taking your time to look at my work. Cheers! MF72- LOL! Thanks! Can't wait to work on the base soon... Bigjohn- I agree about the base. When I first saw it on eBay I knew I had to get it. MIG also sells another base for small panzers and I want to get it too. ;D They cost about $20 to $25. I can try to make one but you know how slow I build so I am afraid it will take me a month or two just to work on the base itself. LOL Robbo- Thanks mate!!! Snipersmudge- Thanks! Its one of many tricks I learned from others at the forums. I couldn't have done it myself. You should try on a paper first because it took me a while to get better control of mud splatters. Wouter- Thanks buddy! Save me some beer will you? Gary- Appreciate your nice words. Maybe we can trade? Your Puma for my Pz III. Nah, maybe that StuG of yours? NO! I want your Shermanie! LOL

You've made some great strides on this one lately Andy, looking good! Nice job on the muffler and other details. Shot of it on the base really shows how it's all tying together, almost across the finish line!

Bill- Thanks friend! I thought I'd try the AK chipping on the muffler... often I see paint peeling off muffler. Thanks to weather and boys back in school schedule that they go to bed early allowing me more bench times if I am not too tired. Still on target to complete four builds this year... keep your fingers crossed.

Guys- My Panzer III K is finally complete... not too bad... took me only little more than three months to complete. Unfortunately I can not upload photos into photobucket.com since yesterday... it seems to be down again.
Now I can attack the base over the weekend... stay posted.

bigjohn- Thanks for letting me know. Looks like it is finally up and running... Guys- I bring you completed Pzbflswg III Ausf K. Wish I have the speed of grandpa Dicky... I build only 4 or 5 kits a year. ;D Crap, just noticed that I forgot to apply MIG Smoke to the muffler... will take care of that. I will take more pictures with my better camera after the base is complete. As usual, thank you for looking!

Nice finish on the K! Now you've got no excuse for finishing the base...the commander's got the starting pistol ready and the clock's ticking!

Bill- Oh, you didn't see the news? The starter pistol misfired so I still got time! LOL Thanks buddy... always appreciate you taking your time to follow my builds. We have come a long way... still remember you taking your time to help me with my first build 234/1. Snipersmudge- Thanks!!! Glad you liked the figure! Its my personal rule that all of armor builds has to have a figure or more.

Andy, I remember the 234/1 project and indeed you have come a long way in a relatively short space of time, always a pleasure to see what you're up to next...especially since you blame me frequently for your acquisitions!

Spud- Hope its nice enough for a trade for your PayPal account? LOL Thanks buddy! bigjohn- Can't wait either... planning to work on the base today. Hopefully you will see it in person. Thanks! Bill- Take a good look at my Dragon stash... I believe you are responsible for 75% of my purchases. LOL I look forward to the day you confess you are work for Dragon as a secret agent with a primary goal to get others to buy their kits. ;D Modelfreak- Thanks... appreciate your nice words.

Chrisb- I pondered over same question you brought up when I built this Ausf K variant. I repeatedly looked at the pictures in my reference books and on internet and none of them had a MG... Jeez, I'd rather to trade an extra radio set for a machine gun!!! Or maybe add it on the top of the turret...
Correct me if I am wrong they had two sets of radio and those sets take up a lot of space so Pz IV turret was used for this variant to make room to include the main 50mm gun.
Glad you liked it... thanks for stopping by!

I can neither confirm nor deny any purported rumors of connection, covert or overt influence, or subliminal suggestion programs in relation to one manufacturer's product line over another.

Bill- LMAO! Is that a confession in a disguise? ;D Wouter- Hey man, glad you liked the mud splatters... it was fun doing it!!! Thanks for stopping by... Boss- LOL! Maybe we should make Bill send us some kits to help us recuperate with the pain we have gone thru especially our wallets. Always good hearing from you... Gary- You are welcome to come to look and fondle them... will have plenty of iced tea maybe lemonade too ready for you. But you can't take one of them home except for a trade! ;D Dicky- Sorry! I think all of this started when a guy was building two tanks at a lighting speed causing driving other guys crazy?

Guys- With Pz III K completed, I attacked the base... it is my first diorama attempt so bear with me as I am the novice here. Base coat sprayed on and rocks highlighted with lighter paints... Wood studs painted in different tones... Heavily thinned burnt umber oil paint applied... Next I will apply same MIG pigments I used on the K. Thanks for looking!
