Why worry, each of us is wearing an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back.

You're right on schedule with this one Wouts, looking sharp with the added weathering and detail touches.

thanks a lot everyone! Makes me very happy that you guys appreciate it jackwagon, yeah, now that I checked the photos again you are totally right about the aerials, I'll try to replace them with some stretched sprue. And indeed it's way cooler with the antennae tied down, however, for that one has to have antennaebases which can be bent as well (I guess they are made out of rubber or another kind of bendable material). Sadly though, the HobbyBoss ones are made of solid plastic standing up, otherwise I would have done that indeed. Would be nice if HobbyBoss provides two options of antennaebases Thanks for the tip on the Accurate Armor aerials mate, I can't order them by tuesday ;D but it's nice to know for future builds . One thing which bothers me for days now are the b'n'c's 'sticking together' btw...it's been three days that I gave them a wash, and eversince they group into pairs, I tried making them loose from one and another but they keep on goin' back into pairs...darn irritating...hope it changes... Cheers

Outstanding as usual! Can't wait to see it done. Agree with Dicky... I didn't notice them until they were mentioned.
I have to ask you about the name tag... it looks GREAT! Did you make it or you had it made at some shop? I always wanted to make something like that for all of my builds.

thanks a lot bro I had them made. I heard often about NameIt! in the UK and decided to try that company. Very good service I must say, I ordered by email and they gave me the charges in € although they work in £. Also, when ordered they were sent to me quite fast. Fun thing is, if you have logos you want onto the nametag they'll add it. I had some made for the Merkava, La Gleize KT, Initial Tiger I and for the Me109, and it looked great! www.nameitplates.co.uk/I'd say, give it a try mate, you won't regret it Cheers

I love it Just a question about the colour. A friend of mine is building a Merkava II and the colour he used is grey. I've always seen Merkavas in sand colour, what colour di you use?

Hi Luigi, thanks a lot mate. Well, I must say I'm not really an expert on Merk stuff or so, but I used ModelMaster IDF Sand Grey. It's a bit of grey color indeed, but weathering makes it look more like a sandcolor seen on Abrams or Challenger tanks. I think the heavy dusty environments where these operate make it that way. Hope it helped a bit Cheers

thanks Bill! jackwagon, I sure am mate, I'm glad she turned out this way, even with the flaws in the construction stages. Glad you like the way she is displayed ^^, thanks partner (and thanks for the constructive criticism!). Sure made me decided to do more modern stuff (though my main interest stays German WWII) Cheers
