LOL thanks guys. Hoping the painting will show the holes better. She's a bit shiny due to the liquid cement to remove burrs and fuss. Right, back to the bench and hopefully get the truck and gun done today. Primer this week if I don't lose power ( hurricane).

Thanks bud. Working on the gun at the moment and should be done with that in an hour.....too many tiny bits on that thing. After that, the PE on the RSO and tracks. Ready for primer tomorrow.

Like where this one's headed Rob, the Flak 38 in the back will be a cool way to differentiate this one even further.

Hey John, thanks bro. Might try to get the rest done tonight or tomorrow, depending on the storm. Here is one pic of the gun.

OH yeah, made one mistake with the RSO. I forgot to use the front axle that is marked not used. This brings the axle and front sprockets back more allowing for the lower plate and PE strap to fit. I have removed the wrong part and have fixed this, just have to let it all cure.

yeah, the lower pan wont go on with the front cross member installed. You might have to take it off to install the pan.
I installed the windsheilds and painting mask on mine.

John found the dash right off thanks to Terry. Got the front end fixed already. Going with the plastic and not the PE pan. This will get mostly covered so no big deal. Started on the bed sides and PE. Decided to leave off the PE as this area is unclear and I may not be using the ice cleats anyways. If I went without the flak gun then I would have gone that route. This also lets me have fun with more eye candy on the drivers side of the bed .....splintered wood effects if it works out. Hope to get the rest done today if power stays on. If she gets done then primer as well.

Dueling RSO's. If we can get a 3rd one going maybe some TV exec will make a reality show out of it. Looks great so far Rob.

yeah maybe eh. So who will join the fun then ?? Since I still have power work on the RSO continues. I have added more pics to my site of the shot up windscreen and side bed panel. I need to change knife blades to a new sharp and pointed one to get the splintered wood effects better. Moving right along and closer to paint time.

Thanks Andy glad you like em dude. OK build is done, except for the tracks which will come later once a base and terrain is roughed up. This way the tracks can be glued accordingly. Final build pics later as I want to do that and move straight to the primer stage. I will try to update this blog and the review thread..BUT most images and text will be done mainly on the new scratchmod site. I haven''t updated the old site in quite some time so now I have to keep the new one going and keep it up to date. That is where I will post the most pics of this build. scratchmod.weebly.com/

Thanks fellas. I managed to get a bit of paint on the RSO and gun but had to stop due to moisture issues. Will try again later and also take a few pics.

Thanks John. Got the base yellow on and am searching for a green camo scheme. Then seal and maybe white wash after decs.. The the fun part of weathering the cab interior. Fighting moisture probs here so don't know how the camo will turn out. How's yours coming along ??
