Thanks for the comments fellas, and yeah the WW is not too bad after all. Always have doubts when it first goes on and forget the weathering part. LOL...haven't forgotten those Adam...LOL There will be quite a bit of other things to be added too.

Hmmm.....was doing a bit of internet searching for RSO's, I remembered a good friend built one not long ago. Well sure enough, Rick Lawler did a late version and with a three toned camo and WW . Shows we think a like I guess. Well here is a link to Rick's site and his awesome RSO. Hope mine comes out half as good. ricklawler.plastic-garden.com/?p=1885#more-1885

You could always turn it upside down with the barrel in the dirt, maybe a little fire and rust... haha. I wouldn't worry about Rick's build being too similar to yours. I'm sure yours will come out just as nice. That's as long as you don't put a couple guys in front of it with their backs facing the viewer.

After not seeing this one and the bench for the past few days, it's time to do some weathering. Also need to slowly make up a base for this one.

I was messing around with the weathering. Adding a little here and there just to get some layers. With work on the hull and dirt effects next. All weathering done with AK effects.

I like it already and it is not even done. Just noticed you removed little more winter camo, did you? It still looks GREAT!

Cheers fellas for the comments.
Andy nothing else was removed, I just added the weathering.
Spent a couple of hours last night working on the bed and sides. Been trying to do some wood painting effects......and not that easy when the vehicle color is nearly the same color as wood.

Here is a pic of the start to the wood effects in the bed area. I will get new pics taken later of what it looks like now.

You are my guidelight This build will become one of the best references I'll have once I get to paint the Ya, they have a lot in common the two tractors. You're achieving awesome results on this one, Rob

Hey T, thanks brotha. Having fun is all. Got some cool weathering ideas for my L70 (A).. Slowly getting into the 'extreme weathering' thang. Hope to have time this weekend to do the lower section, then get her ready for a base. Wheels are up next as well.

Is that real wood Rob or the plastic as supplied? Just wondering how you managed to get them wooden splinters looking so good if it's not real wood splinters

I can see how the wood weathering would present a contrast challenge but you're bringing it to life spectacularly Rob. Looking forward to more!

Your rust and weathering effects look as always perfect. How do you know how it has to look? Do you have photographs or is that your years of experience? Superb work my friend.

ah shucks, thanks fellas. Means a lot knowing you all like how she's coming along.
Matt, Years basically from doing this for over ten years and studying thousands of images. You get the hang of it and know when to stop, or add more. The key is in the layers. A little here and there, always thin layers and not overdoing things. Blending layers and effects is also very important.
