I really like these things. Half tank half truck is a pleasing combo. But what you are doing with it is making it even better. Nice bullet holes.

Thanks fellas glad your digging the RSO so far. I did get the paint on yesterday and had no issues doing the green camo but the redbrown just wouldn't spray right. Nt a prob tho as the weathering and maybe a WW will blend it all together. Just a pic for now of the painting. Next steps will be filters, washes and then maybe a very faded WW.

Nice seeing the color coming out of the box Boss!! Sucks that that one color won't spray for you, but, I am sure you will get a handle on it!!! Keep it coming!!!

Thanks Er, Spud and Luigi.
Spud the color was one of those that they had issues with but have since fixed it. I never got rid of or marked that bottle and only realized it after it was on. It was the a dark brown base. I put the bottles away after painting not sure which number it was now. Forgot again to mark the bottle...damn.

Nice Rob! Color is looking good. That brown looks fine and will blend in when weathered.

No worries Rob, it looks fine to me. And a faded WW will look great over the camo scheme. You are in control mate !

Always hate it when you get in a painting rhythm and something disrupts it, but am sure you'll pick right back up with it and carry on Rob. Nice to see paint flying on this baby!

Hello Rob,
RSO is comin' along great. Colors and camo look fine as well. Love tha bullet holes - very realistic. Ive shot many rounds in old cars and id say you nailed it! It woulda been a BAD DAY for tha driver though! ;D ;D

Thanks Andy and Gary.
Gary yes it was a VERY bad day for the driver. Pics of that later. The cab interior is done for now, might add personal equip later. The interior may be a bit gory some some, but it IS the reality of war. White wash will be going on in a bit now that the filter and washes are done.

I have the interior done as mentioned above and will be doing some exterior work soon. Thought I'd post an update pic or two for now. A light filter was also added to the outside and will be toned down a bit. I don't think the driver survived this. I will touch up and add some smeared blood later, but not going overboard with it. Kind of going from memory here.

Wow Rob, that's a nice touch and you're right....no way the driver walked away from this one given the placement of those bullet holes.

most awesome work Rob especially with the paint I like the really faded look you have captured with this. A question though, how did you do the bullet holes?

Good stuff as always Rob, I just noticed the splintered wood, a superb addition to the RSO bed.
