LOLOL Ian.
Thanks fellas. Maybe bench time this afternoon. Really want to get this one done. Was in the garage yesterday quick, and found some wood that might work for a base. Just need to get out there and cut some wood.

LOL sorry Spuddy, been busy today and only got 20 minutes at the bench. Enough time to apply a dark wash on the wheels and hull.

You are really moving into your element Rob. Amazing what can be done with a brush and some funny colored liquids.

Well I am finally going to hit the bench for an hour or so. Here is where I left off. Going to do some of the touch up painting etc and then start to glue this baby together. I still haven't had time to make a base so I will see what I have lying around that might fit this one. Too cold to go to the garage and start cutting wood. Will have to take more pics later, took this quickie to post up.

Very nice progress and update Rob, it's only going to get colder in the garage from here on out though so you'll have to figure out the optimal time for the base...maybe the holiday week coming up will give you the perfect chance during the day!

Tracks are glued, rough base is done and will dry a couple of days. That was all from last night and I haven't hit the bench today....actually just got home 10 minutes ago. Bill , yep, getting to cold and also no time so this base has to do .
