I prefer to start from a bright base color too, it's more fun building up the colors with transparent layers to obtain many tones and shades. Love it Dan !

Thanks to everyone's comments it is much appreciated i understand what you mean Tony it is bright at the moment im hoping that after some pin washes and washes it will dull it down a bit all we can do is see....

Hey all a small update for today over last 2 days the Panther has recieved some washes i used oils for this highly diluted with Daler and Rowney turps for oils i used 2 shades of brown the barrel recieved a black wash. Once this dried over night i started on the pin washes for this used AK streaking for yellow vehicles white spirit was used to blend. I added some pigments to the base and some washes i will post this on the next update. Dan B

Evening chaps heres a chipping good update for you all !!!! i have had 2 bench sessions of 3 hours each to get the chipping done i used 2 sand tones for 1st lot of chips and then Vallejos german black brown for the darker chips i used a sponge and brush. Hope you all approve. Dan B
