O sweet!!! That base is genius! Also love the way the beast is sunk down into it, and the white paint to alert drivers on the road - Brilliant!!!!

Thanks Tobias and Jt. Still have some things to add, like the extra track links etc. Also will try to paint htis fig, we'll see how that turns out ey. Once all is done I'll add a second gloss black coat to the wooden base and a clear gloss, and that will wrap it up for the Jt.

Fellas, sorry for the late reply. Well been working on this when I have time and it's nearly done. Am working on the fig at the moment but the face and eyes are crap. Will have to maybe redo this area or just live with it. Will have final pics up in a day or so.

Just a quick update pic of the JT base. Added the tow cable and blown off tracks. Also added some ground work to the areas not burned. Been working on this fella when I had time. Have repainted the face twice and am not happy with it. I still have to redo the eyes. They are molded bug-eyed and one is larger than the other, doesn't help in painting them. I used the box art to paint the clothing and went too dark in the shadow areas.

Yep, he'll get a new head, but not anytime soon. Will do the base without this chap for now.

Hi Rob, the fig looks great to me, the only problem is the eyes as you say. Dicky's idea of the goggles would fix it, or even if you tried making 'shadows' in the eye sockets. Anyway I'm sure you sort it!
Cheers JT

Rob, I like the ground work, there's much variation in the vegetation an structures. The figure will be ok once tje head changed. Btw sorry if I'm not that much online these days (the headache you know, a CT scan is my next to do). I'm finishing my Dodge base every now and then, making pics and posting them is for later, I feel quite tired due to the medication...

Thanks for all the feedback and support fellas. I am calling this one done....unless I think of something else to add. I decided to paint the figs eyes so he is looking to the side. Kind of like he's looking at the keep clear sign and thinking, " should I !!" This is about the only thing that works with this fig. Not the greatest paint job but this is only the second I've painted in over ten years. The hornet heads are on the must have list. The fig is on the base to show the size of the JT...and to fill that corner. Thanks for following along on this project and all the moral support. Next up the JP and something a bit different. Rob
