Gosh, do you really have to put paint on all of those PE?!?!? Now I am really digging the figure indicating that he couldn't "hear" us. Reminds me of one deaf modeler I know very well...

Very nice work wouter...but I can't help but think of the commander screaming "WHERE ARE MY HANDS? " as the loader pretends to ignore him.

Dan, thanks bro, I sure want to paint her...but gonna keep her naked for a while I think CSS, thanks a lot dude!!! Well, well, well, you have been bugging me to have mine primed and painted. Now I am bugging you... LOL Kidding, again stunning work on your Tiggy!
I am glad I am not alone... I see that your headlights are as high as mine. They were in way when you move the turret blocking the gun. That explain why they moved the lights to lower part of the hull in later models?

Bootsey, not too modest mate, your builds always have been inspiring, wether with etch or without. They are great and that's what counts! And thanks bro ^^ Andy, ;D ;D ;D, well, can't paint her if at least the turret ain't finished yet, can I? btw, the headlights are like that indeed. When in combat mode the crew removed them (hence Dragon provided the headlight bases with extra detail in this kit, in case you would want to depict it without. The 501 pimped their Tigers and some of them had their headlights moved to the lower parts indeed. Later on it became a factory feature with just one headlight lowered in the center of the front plate indeedo Steve, thanks a lot mate, appreciate it , and she won't be nude forever ;D Cheers

thanks Prof, glad you like it...working with PE ain't too hard though...just practice, patience and...lots of swearing ;D wing_nut, thanks mate, the muzzle cover is of the brand Tank Workshop and took me a while to find a shop where they had it in stock. Can't remember where though, it's been a couple of years. Think it was a Dutch online shop called militarymodelsandaccesoires...still buy some stuff there from time to time jackwagon, I should have remembered that ;D shellback, thanks mate, and keep those dopey moments coming, love them ;D Joe and Luigi, many thanks fellas well, finally a small update. I decided to spray the interior of the turret Flat Black. Initially I wanted to give it a coat of off white and weather it, but since pretty much nothing of it will be seen I decided to drop that idea. Now there's one thing which is a bit of a mistake on Dragons early style drum cupola's. If you don't sand down the sticking out bits (I seriously don't know how to call them, not even in my native language ;D) which slot in the turret roof, you'll end up with a gap between the roof and cupola, as seen on this photo of my first ever Tiger I marked the bits to be sanded down with some arrows...they ain't very tight looking since I don't know how to do that in Photoshop Elements After that I started with the turret roof. gave the loaders hatch some etch detail. And I drilled out the hinges so the hatch is workeable. Turret fan cover got some detail as well. I also drilled two holes on each side of the roof, I'll be slotting the wiring for the smoke mines into it. Well, that's all for now Cheers

Sure do. All that tiny PE would drive me nuts. Besides that, I know I would break off parts as always...lol Easy way to make a good model then a wrecks...lost parts....lol

yeah, I can concur though ;D...you get used to it, but still, it remains frustrating from time to time. Swearing is part of the game. And I also wrecked an empty Tamiya Extra Thin bottle out of sheer frustration...It flew through the house as if it was an F15 ;D oh well talking about wrecks...with me cannibalising all the stuff, the old Afrika Kitty sits in a very poor state...makes my heart break...but as you mentioned, never throw that stuff away, make a wreck out of it ^^ Cheers

Looking good woutmiester! Yes sir swearing is a big part of PE! I started Demag with a flak 30 and gunshield is all PE! It was fun but I still went back and checked the rest of my flak tracked thingies to make sure that was the only one. One was good for me at the moment! ;D
