Carl, why are you breaking a nice decent model kit apart? LOL It looks great... damage looks pretty realistic.

The damage to the travel lock is a nice touch Gary, definitely adds to the 'in action' feel of this beast!

Looks awesome so far! I may have missed it, but how did you make the shell damage? ( what the method from page 2 is isn't mentioned I don't think).

Glad you guys like the damage . I picked up the method from DanB . I used a cheap little soldering iron and after practicing on an old model ifinally i carefully put the tip of the soldering iron into the model . I enhanced the raised material on the edges of the damage with gel c.a. and excellerator .

I used some glazing putty and put some surface texture on the glacis and casement sides . Here's the putty smeared on . Model looks blue because i didnt reset the white balance . After sanding and paint this is the look of it .Starboard side. Port side. The re finished glacis . ;D

Dan , thanks ! I was looking at the texture on your latest build . I'll have to look into the Tamiya putty method ! Wouts , good to hear from you about the texture and damage .My first Friuls on this one . I started assembling them ........ ....lots of parts on this track design . Thats to bad about them being the wrong ones for your model. Friul dont give a lot of explanation as to what tracks go with what version of tank imo . And the instructions ? What instructions ?........ Tobias , thanks . Luigi , glad you like it . no seats in this one my friend . LOL ;D Hey Joe , thanks for stoppin in ! I figured these 70 ton beast didnt move to fast so the Rusky 76mm had time to throw a good number of armor piercing rounds at this Jagd . The Jagd had 5.9 inches of armor steel on the glacis and i figure these got in there about half way . Sure as heck would of been a bell ringer for anyone inside though .
