Looks like the perfect base for the upcoming WW treatment! I'd be tempted to just go with it the way you have it TBH, so the addition of the WW will just take it up one more notch in the end.

Very cool Luigi!!!! Loved that CM paintjob you did and that weathering makes it already looking sweet! It's an effect which really adds to the model. I quite like the scratches btw
Cheers

OK I will be an echo...You've not overdone a thing, top notch job I say. I love the not quite level of the box in relation to the rest of the vehicle, it gives a hard used aspect to the build that I have seen many times before on real vehicles. Bello!!
Regards, Mark

Thanks guys, all these feedbacks make this place the best to be Figers crossed (before), I decided to try the whitewash: I wasn't quite satisfied with the result. A friend on facebook made me notice that I had removed too much whitewash from the center of the roof and of the bonnet. So I sprayed some more white and worked to a result I find acceptable, being the first try to a ww vehicle: Hope you like it, as always ACW

Your friend gave you good advice! The second set of shots looks right on IMHO and ought to provide the perfect foundation for some additional weathering to come.

DITTO! Second attempt looked much better! Best thing about WW... you can not go wrong. You can always add another coat of WW to places where you want to fix. Looking great... but I have to tell you the truth I think I need a break from anything related to snow or white for a long time. Went skiiing today and my last time I did was 20 years ago. LOL
Looking forward to your update!

Carl, thank you. I hope to have some bench time this afternoon. During the week I added some snow to the base using antiskid microspheres mixed with water and PVA glue.

Sounds kinda scientific ............ Antiskid microspheres are almost the same as Woodland scenics snow, but they cost about one half I found them in a nautical shop Dicky, Leon and Todd, thanks a lot for following

Luigi, I offer you my humble apologies for jumping back in this late ! The reason for that ? I just can't keep up, the site is becoming so enormous ! A normal day's 12 hours to short !!! Anyway, I hope you can forgive me my friend... The white wash operation is a succes, I like the variation in it, soft effects, lovely sparkling white tones...The following washes will stand out really well ! µ Best regards ! AG.

Carl I think it is likely, they're used not only for nautical purposes, but also on stairs and other devices that need more grip than the usual floors do. I paid 15 euros a box that is enough for three lives of fully snowed dios Guy thanks for the peek and the warm comments Now on to the sad part. I had a housemaid to clean the house, and, although I told her not to clean my mancave, she thought it needed cleaning. So the bonnet is gone, together with the housemaid. Luckily Dicky will scratch one for me (thanks again my friend, you're really too kind), so all I will have to do is repaint it.
