OH man, was looking forward to see it finished. Maybe I can help you hunt for the missing part... seems I have been good at defeating the carpet monster so far. Just pay for my fare and I will be on my way in a heart beat... LOL, I'll call you Sir Andy the defeater of carpet monsters. Mine heard you were coming for him and immediately released the lid Thanks a lot for the support, my friend Later I'll take some pics of the CM done.

Now that's rotten luck; it was coming along so nice too. Don't suppose the lost part's reproducable with some white stuff?
Of course if you've hit a flat spot that makes a difference too

Guys, I finally started painting. I kept the modulation subtle as it will be covered by the whitewash, so I'll try to keep it simple. As always ACW

Bad news Lui - yer'll be back at the bench in no time - so yer reckon the carpet monster ate the bonnet? That's gotta be the largest bit EVER sacrificed to the Tufted Parts Muncher Read on, Neems, Sir Andy defeated the horrid monster and I had the bonnet back

Glad you were able to intimidate the CM into coughing up the offending part! Nice work on the green as well. Don't let the mojo fade on this one, it's going too good!

Thanks a lot for the greenwarm comments I went on weathering the little donkey. Here it is, so far: I probably overdid the scratches, but they will be covered by the whitewash so hopefully it will be hidden. As always ACW

Great job! Scratches overdone? No the driver was a former cab driver from New York City we can say. Can't wait to see more... LOL Andy, as I told you before, russian drivers went on driving until their rides split in pieces And this particular ride was quite close to retirement, in my idea
