Thanks Grahame and Smudge I hope to be able to finish the engine tonight. It all depends on how I'll be after the dentist But one thing I'm sure, it won't be the last Miniart kit I'll build.

The detail on the engine is impressive...I've been eyeing their Valentine kits and have been hesitant to take the plunge because of the sticker price on them but this may just convince me to go ahead and give them a whirl.

Rob and Steve thanks a lot, I really appreciate it Bill the only thing I don't like a lot of this kit is the styrene. It's a little too soft and to easy to ruin during the cleaning phase. But with a little attention it's all but impossible to deal with. All the rest is outstanding. I look forward to seeing how the workable tracks will be, as they are those clickable ones, without wires or such things to link them.

As I was saying elsewhere, I got some bench time on this project. It's quite a complicated build, with lots of small pieces, so it took me a long time to get here. Well, the real problem is my snail pace, but anyhoo, here's some picture: Hope you like it...

Another quick update: I installed the engine on the chassis together with the exhaust. Next up all the structure that holds the cabin... Hope to have some bench time wednesday, tomorrow I'll have too many things to do....
