Luigi you're a clean builder mate, it looks so spotless and the stowage is stunning, this will turn out into a great eyecatching model.

Lui ,well i dont see anything or a reason to cover your stowage with a tarp . Some cool painting techniques will make the wire look like rope . Besides some of that thread can look really fuzy if its the wrong type . Try painting some braiding on the wire to simulate rope . Same with them boxes and tarps .its mostly the way they are painted that'll bring them to life my friend .........imo . ;D

Sweet stuff Luigi!! I have been slacking lately checking in on some builds Catching up when I can.....I think the wire is fine my friend. For the scale and like Carl said "fuzzies" ...paint them!

Carl, thanks. On another forum made me notice that such a heavy crate should have some form of grip handle on the ropes and a reinforcement on the sides to prevent the rope from breaking the wood. I'll add those details and try to paint it to see how it turns out. Todd I'll try to paint it the best I can, if it'll be ugly a tarp will solve all Andy, thanks for the peek and the comment

Hello Luigi, The seats started out looking quite good. After the washes and weathering, they look properly worn. Excellent work! Dave

Dave, Spud, Boots and Rob, thanks for the kind comments I started building the base on wich the YA will sit: When the plaster will dry I'll put some terrain, rocks and grass on it. As always, ACW

Bill and Carl, thanks a lot Tread, glad you liked this blog. As I always said before, the seats must be credited to Carl's excellent work and SBS I linked. Without it, I wouldn't have had a clue on how to do them. Yesterday I redid all the ribs with iron wire, as kit's ones were too fragile and too thin to clean them from the sprue. No pics, yet, as I want to finish the build before. I hope to have some bench time tomorrow, so to get to the paint stage during the weekend.

Looking real good already! Working on my base but using water putty as it is my first attempt. Working out good but I want to explore all different options and yours looks perfect for uneven ground if I want to build one day so what is the name of clay or putty you are using? And where can I find them here in USA if anybody knows?

Andy the commercial name is DAS, and it is some kind of self curing clay. Kids stuff Gary thanks Today a guy on an italian forum showed your T-34 factory 112 as an example

Just try to keep it the thinner you can, otherwise it'll take an awful lot of time to cure Todd, thanks for the visit
