Andy the commercial name is DAS, and it is some kind of self curing clay. Kids stuff Gary thanks Today a guy on an italian forum showed your T-34 factory 112 as an example Really! Thats pretty cool. What was the part he was trying to present? Paint, tracks, or the like? Thanks for the heads up on that one. Gary

Tojo, thanks a lot. Good news and bad news... Good news are that the build should be finished. Bad news are that it fell down on the floor and even after repair, some parts do not fit perfectly This is how it is now: Thanks for watching and, as always, ACW

What's been said above is so true but why would you want to drop it to replicate damage? There must be another way Bull. Just jerking you chain buddy Tony lee

This place is the best I was really down and you guys made me laugh Dicky and Carl, let's see how it'll be with the paint on... Tony, I think I'll get a patent on this new method. I was thinking also of printing a book titled "Realistic damage by dropping, the advantages of wooden floors on concrete"

I think you've hit on a great new technique Luigi! Just chalk it up to poor Russian manintenance in the field.

WOW! I am always learning something... never thought about dropping to replicate actual battle damages. I have to try that one day... it still looks great maybe more realistic now...
This is weird... I posted a comment yesterday and it is nowhere to be found? Maybe a glitch that we need to keep eyes on...

Good recovery, Luigi! Most people are totally unaware of the dangers modellers face on a daily basis: carpet-monsters, F$*&-Up Fairies, gravity (she can be a very cruel mistress)...at least the kit is a nice one - something that can't be said about all Ukrainian kits Cheers, dierk

Hey guys, thanks a lot for all the warm comments The YA is primed and waiting for some paint. I'm trying to get my hands on some tamiya laquer thinner, to dilute better the AK set. I'm also thinking of adding some snow to the base.

Ladies and gentlemen, the YA project is on hold from now. The carpet monster managed to eat the lid og the bonnet and I can't seem to find it. So, unless by chance I'll stumble upon it, this project will never be finished.
Together with the YA, the carpet monster ate my mojo too... So there will be no more progress on any project until further notice.

OH man, was looking forward to see it finished. Maybe I can help you hunt for the missing part... seems I have been good at defeating the carpet monster so far. Just pay for my fare and I will be on my way in a heart beat...
