I always like to have a German 3 colour on the go and have just dusted of a build thats been on the back burner for a while just spent 2 days tweeking still a few bits to do pics soon. Bit like a bus none for a while then 2 at once ,but mine is a baby next to Andys 1/16th job. . DSC07685 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. This has had Fruils put on with the new brass rod in the box for pins that i dont like bends to easy Its had a mix of Griffon Etch skirts and Aber tool clamps. I textured the surface with Mr Surfacer. All the clamps work why? you will find out later. Mac

Hey Mac, really nice looking build. Love the little bits. Detail is awesome. I'd really like to see ya paint it. I actually think the details look better when painted. Leaving it naked just seems half a$$ed to me... It's not my model though, so just do what ya like.

Well squeezed a bit more time in on this i am practicing with life colour at the moment vwhen i am happy this will get painted. I sorted the tow ropes and i want them sort of still attached ,but also looking like the vehicle has been abandoned. but not for too long. . DSC07700 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. . DSC07699 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .This is not the final restting place for the ropes mor a test shot it also explains why i left the clamps working i can paint it with out the ropes and add them later. Making good progress on this one Mac. The idea with the tow cables is a nice one...kind of like the crew was prepping it for a tow and something changed their minds...creates a little bit of mystery around it.
