Clint let the paint begin. i went back to old ways and pre shaded this with Tamiya redbrown over white then added a coat of lifecolour sand.  DSC07750 by macmcconnell, on Flickr Oh the sorrow the etch has gone. .  DSC07752 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .  DSC07749 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .  DSC07751 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. This now needs to dry for 24hrs and see how it looks might then do a tad of modulation. |

Dan defo mate its a spot on colour for the Tusk
Mack things are about to get a whole lot better just been experimenting with hard edge and its coming out tops more later

No Probs Dan
Primed white
Shadow lines in Tamiya XF68 NATO Brown
Loose coats of LC SAND UA090
Gental Shadow work done with Gelbbraun ua201
Darker shadows used Mr Hobby wood brown thinned a lot
Then did a gentle mist over with the sand again

DSC07787 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .Well after a few hours checking ref photos one thing i noted was the cam came all the way down the hull side under the skirts they must have painted them then added the skirts. another point with this cam is the spots dont use a brush use a tooth pick with a blunted end and dont add to many dots. Well its a seal in job and decals next. Hope you like it .Mac |

Thanks guys just got the decals on as 323 big and chunky blue and yellow. I also found another problem the rain guard over the site should not be on it as these were approved november time but not fitted till early 1945, now removed it. Cant wait to start filters oh well back to little bear.
