Absolutely wonderful.

I have used Dullcote in the rattle can as my main flat coat over fully cured Vallejo acrylics. I have never experienced any difficulties. I do let the fig sit for a day or so before flat coating though.

I have airbrushed Dullcote thinned with Testors enamel thinner with no issues either. I have never thinned it with laquer though.

Also started on the colours, im going to split it into 4 quarters on each side to divide it up a bit, so first was the blue blocked out and then the general shading and highlights

More or less finished the right side, I have to say this took four and a half hours today, im trying to get this finished for this Sunday for the show in Newcastle but I think it will be a bit tight





I reckon if I stay up for the next 12 hours I might get it finished

Very nice Paul, you can almost feel the breeze that's rippling it from here! The subtle effects and highlights give it a very nice satiny/silk like look to it.
