Hi all just one update, ive managed to finish all the bindings and placed the base on top, the platted ropes will have an adjuster on them to tighten them around the base spars, but ill have to do that when its painted So thats the main build done, i want to add some extras like a spear holder and perhaps one for a Bow as well and there will also be some extra bits for the horse harness, So next step is the horses im also going to pose the driver as well all for now Paul

jackwagon many thanks mucka, i have to admit im quite chuffed with the end result Leon and Bruce thanks for all your great comments, it keeps me going Ive started on the driver, i thought when i first put the torso together, that i had made a terrible mistake on the dimensions for the chariot and that it was toooo big. However now i have his legs and head on and checking it from the plans and pictures i have, its just about right. As i said at the start im going to go for a static look, no galloping horses and flying cloaks so i thought id have him leaning back against the front hoop with one leg resting on the yoke spa. His right hand will be holding the reins with the arm draped over his leg and the left arm and hand resting in his lap. He will of course have all the usual weapons and a cloak. For the life of me i cant think how to pose Boudicca, i want her standing but i cant think of anything that might be suitably dramatic, so i think ill concentrate on the driver and the horses first all for now Paul

Holy ferkin` moley Paul ...............that is some mean scratcherizing fella!!!, absolutely out of this world . The pose looks good mate, as for queenie, i suppose the fact the horses are stationary and the fella is in quite a relaxed mode will dictate her actions somewhat...........don`t think leaning against the chariot with a ciggy and a pint qualifies tho ...........fantastic work bro and look forward to more of this

Wish I could help in terms of suggesting something with the poses Paul...but the only thing that comes to mind with what you've said regarding it being static and having the driver in a relaxed pose would be for the Queen to be either approaching the chariot or leaving it...otherwise the driver would have to be in a more 'engaged' pose, no?

Boots cheers mate, what about having her with a joint , plenty of time to sort it out Thanks Bill, thanks for the input, i wanted her on the chariot, standing in a relaxed pose like the driver, but as ive got a female mannequin i can try a few poses before i make my mind up. Just a bit to the horse, first pic is of the horse oob, im not going to change this one round much so ive just adjusted the head A bit of filling and reshaping to do Paul

Leon thanks mucka, yep its taking shape now Andy cheers mate you are to kind Tobi as it was my first foray into styrene, i have no idea if it was supposed to do that or not, i did warm it a bit in hot water before i did the lattice work and it seemed to bend ok without breaking Bit more done to the casual dude and the power plant , loads of filler stuck in the horse and the trousers started on the dude, the leg bindings are a bit rough at the mo but hopefully will look better after a bit of sanding more to follow Paul

Leon thanks mushty Thanks Bill, front cover of women only Cheers Boots your to kind buddy Thanks Dennis, I have a few pics of Boudicca in various clothing, but the overall opinion of the british museum is that she wore a dress, this is supported by the writings of Tacitus at the time who gave a very good description of her. Cheers Bruce, your comments are much appreciated Cleaned up the strides a bit more and then started on the tunic, hes going to have a chainmail shirt so i did the bottom of the tunic so that it is showing underneath the chainmail, and then just did the bottom part of the chainmail i need to leave a gap for the sword belt, and then make the top half Paul
