Hi all Cheers boots, probabaly might sag a bit after a dip in the sea as well Thanks jackwagon dont worry youll soon get the hang of this talking lark , also yr braid depends on where the it was braided Bill the Adams family by chance Thanks Leon not quite prefect but about as near as im likely to get Moving swiftly on, B has had the undershirt done at the bottom and the sleeves, and the chainmail shirt over the top. On the under shirt ive added some piping curtesy of Stretched sprus r us and tassled the bottom. Ive also started the belt, id like to make this a bit ornate as befitting her station, but not sure what to do with it yet, more indecision I also had a go at an arrow, incredibly small, the fletchings are .25mm styrene on a bit of wire, i dont need to do the full length cos they are going in a bag all for now Paul

Very nice progress Paul, always amazes the level of detail you're able to produce. Love the look of the chain meal, belt, and other various accoutrements you've added here!

Hi all Cee Bee cheers me little mucka Many thanks Toby, be careful youll end up like Andy with bits falling off Bruce you and me both seems like forever since i held a paint brush ..............Musnt rush it.....musnt rush it Many thanks Bill, i think the more i do the more i figure out how to do things jackwagon yes i had Karen standing there in chainmail , and yr right about the same size and thanks, prove of the pudding and all that, I think that episode you watched was the same one that the plans and drawings came from, but im thinking the same sort of colours for mine as well Cheers Bruce, dont know who Jeff Spiccoli is though Many thanks Andy glad you like it Just a couple of updates today, first i made her sword, a bit smaller than the other one with a different style of hilt and pommel, tried to add a bit of decoration to the guard and ill probably paint the scabbard as though the leather has been chiseled I also had another go at a plait, this time, instead of trying to detail a soild piece of milliput, i rolled 3 fine strands and then plaited them, this was the 4th attempt as the milliput just cracked I think this is a better effect than the first one, much fiddlier but worth the end result Paul

Nothing looks like a plait better than a plait! Nice detail work on the sword as well Paul, don't stare at it too long though or your eyes will stay that way for good.

Hi all Cheers jackwagon, ill have to get some more milliput then when we meet up Bill yr right cant think why i didn't think of it before Bruce and Ogrejohn many thanks for the comments Thanks Leon yep I'm feeling the need for paint Moved on to the next biggest part, the cloak, I think Ive got a pretty good shape with that just needs cleaning up. The next major problem is the hair, because its so long it will have to be molded to the cloak at the back and be a separate piece at the sides Ill try and have a bash at that later see how it goes Paul

Cloak has a nice drape/flow to it Paul. As for the hair, it could be worse...she could have corn rows!

What no Telford, your showing a total lack of commitment Dickster . OK ill sculpt you a Barnett and stick it in the post Boots thanks bud, mmmmmmmmm unshaved armpits the uh natural look I think there is going to be a few changes to her, I have been thinking that the boobage area was toooo big and the final straw came when SWMBO said she thought I was making Boudicca not Xena, so there will be some breast reduction going on later Paul

Cheers Andy, its just practice for making Dicks hair Ok this is Boudicca just about finished, ive re done the plait, so thats MKIV and added some bindings to the top and bottom of it. Just the hand to make holding the shield, I have also filed down the boobage area so shes not so busty. Ill be sending these pics of to the British museum just to see what my friend down there thinks Paul

Now we get to see product #3 in the modified styrene line-up Paul! Nice alternative for the hair. Sorry to hear about the v2 plait not surviving, high hopes for v3 though!
