Gentlemen, thank you for the comments. They keep Me motivated Eddy,I think you have helped me out with another question I was going to ask.Is that what the upper structure around the gun is called?Casemate? And as far as interior details are concerned, there is a good bit of it,and I'll try to get some pics up later today. That was one of the reasons I went with this kit. When I first opened the box,I was not very impressed with it.No PE,no wire for tow cables, vinyl tracks. No "goodies" so to speak. But as I looked through the instructions,I saw a lot of detail pieces. So I went for it.Did you see the fire extinguisher?I'm pretty sure I got that right with the green. The instructions called for red,but I knew that wasn't right based on a thread I read a while back that said they should be green and sometimes blue. One more thing,I learned a new word today "Barbette" do you know what that is? No GOOGLING

Jeff, I don't have any idea what 'Barbette' means but it sounds like something found on a ship? I'll need to Google to find out what that word means. . .

NO GOOGLING So that means I've learned two new words :)I'll help you out with "Barbette" and I'm only going by the kit instructions, cause I had no idea what it was either.
This is a Barbette
It's the piece that goes in the bottom of the casemate that the gun mounts to.There,we both learned something

Lovely work so far Jeff! Clean building especially for Braille! As for the Barbette I am confident is was a ship term for the turrets but was adopted to anything with a rotating bang bang. Keep goin on this! Looking great!

Great work and keeping neat ! Just remind you, fire extinguisher colour is red mostly for interior only of axis any AFV. Fire extinguisher never be red of AFV exterior / outside so allies will be spotty on it is red brighter so quickly caught on it. just camo / factory RAL paint colour finishing overall plus cover on fire extinguisher at outside But... seen on history photos - rare of fire extinguisher colour red on axis AFV exterior due panzer maintenance / service / repaired - need get spare from another panzer unknown wrote off then they took some parts spare and fire extinguisher red spare from panzer unknown's interior they're no time or got no spare of paints to camo / factory RAL painting on fire extinguisher red of outside / exterior sometimes so maybe Im wrong ? If you are know about axis fire extinguisher then tell us. I & we want to know so interesting about axis fire extinguisher colour.

D.S. so what you're saying is red on the inside and body color on the outside. That makes sense Gary, no offence taken. It is kinda a thing. But it's got a BIG gun,so I think it's cool

Nice progress Jeff and you're expanding your vocabulary all at the same time! Now just don't get Dicky in here or you'll be really confused.

Thanks Eddy, Raining again this morning I may be able to get some stuff done, but not much. I think I will do a little research and see if I can find any more camo info. If I can find ONE pic, that will be good enough for me. P.S.....That was easy.Don't know why this image didn't show up before, but it looks like this one was camo'd.If you look at the barrel you can really see it. Now I just got to figure out what colors they are
