Oh, and I have been slowly working on my Japanese tank, getting together enough pics to start a thread. Wheels, suspension, sprockets... are just not motivating enough to push me along. But when I get to the actual construction of the vehicle things will fly!  Jeff |

RIGHT now, I'm printing shipping labels galore...lots of kits headed out of the basement to new owners. Hoping I get it done sooner rather than later so I can actually get over to my bench!

2-Day I am preparing a roast for the family (my specialty) in a crock pot. This time instead of hand selecting everything I bought a Tyson kit for the first time... complete with the meat, veggies (onion, potatoes, celery and carrots) and of course the seasoning. Serving with it will be some wide egg white noodles prepared in beef bullion seasoning and some King Hawaiian rolls. Put it in at 9:00 A.M. and should be eating by 3:00 P.M. Doubt I'll get much building in today why with the RedZone fired up and looking over the food... then of course after the feast I won't be worth much so maybe I'll start that build tread today. Not much to show but it'll be a start! Jeff |

Found and ordered a new PC,got a crackin' good deal. Daughters Birthday today, So I've got acouple of pork loins in the oven . Big supper around 6:30. And yes FOOTBALL. It's not a "right now" but it was today. Perfect weather. 70 degrees and humidity in the low 30's with a nice breeze. A couple of time a year the wife and i and another couple drive to the Staten Island Ferry... we live in NJ... to take the ferry into NYC. Parking is free on Sunday and the boat is always a free 25 minute ride. Speaking of "free"... One of the most beautiful sights in the world... lower Manhattan with the new Freedom Tower shining above it all. Walked up to Little Italy for the Feast of San Gennaro. Great food and a lot of booze.   Something new this year though. Not sure why but all the boats had armed escorts across the harbor. Click on the boat...  |

got home from work and decided to play with the two builds i have going. a future coat on the stuart and was going to paint some details on the fort. now 3 hours later drenched in sweat and will have to fix the screw ups i made on the paint of the fort. i dont have the steadiest of hand when painting.

Just got back after spending the morning listening to lawyers argue about stuff only to have the judge give them another 30 days so they could argue about more new stuff in the mean time (long story behind this one that I won't bore you with, just know that it involves a contractor employee that was injured doing work on my property in 2010...it's really dragging along). Now I'm thinking up a way to surprise my wife for her birthday today (not what some of you, you know who you are! are thinking...) |

Since we live on the border with Mexico and 9/16 is a holiday in Mexico, it's not hard to remember her birthday so that by itself doesn't get me much! |
