Right then, As per old forum: Taking this with more than just a dash of inspiration from this; Probably going to base it on water/mud/grass rather than sand but thats flexible at the mo. firdst jobs to roger the roadwheel rubber and get started on some creative gizmology for the enine compartment. taking my inspiration for that from shep pain, trying to make it look busy(ish. ) and vaguely like a stripped out engine bay rather than going for a full on accurate representation. Pics to follow once I can find my blasted camera

Progress to date; Really just working on fussing up the engine compartment. Various combinations of styrene sheet, rod, strip and I beam, fuse wire of various gauges and some odds and sods from the spares box. Plan to add some more wire and lead foil detail. As I said before not meant to be a realistic representation of the real deal -just looking like what it might All comments & suggestions graciously received P

Chris - thank you. jackwagon -I'm hoping its just the camera angle I've placed the firewall about 3 mmm aft of the turret ring and attempted to line it up with the external hatch line. So it looks like its about right in the flesh. Ted- thank you. Ongoing work with the running gear and turret so hopefully this will actually come together quite quickly. Hoping to have some more progress shots tomorrow.

Rob- thank you. Cheers Chris! I don't have any references for the internal set up so I'm just making it up as a 10 footer

No probs Paul...we do what we have to do bud......improvise. One of the things that kept me from doing the ISU 152 and KV II was the lack in interior ref pics. But now I can do the KV when I want.
Looking forward to the update pics.

update time: first some pics Also, the idea is morphing into something else. I'm going for a What if... /Red storm Rising Type of thing. 1981 Russia gets p'd off with Western help for the mujhadeen -so all them '55's, '62's, etc storm across the Central german plain creating some damage on the way. Wha da ya all think guys? P
