Indeed it is Bones..the T90 has just been elevated from I WILL be buying one.. to I HAVE to buy one...see the difference...only slight but it's there and it's a big 'un! It's a psychology thing Your right, I never thought of it but I have many, many that I will buy, and think its that way with many of us, but only very few at any time that I have to buy.

I started off over complicating the masking in my head...nice when it comes off easy!! Paul...tanks buddy! Sometimes it the little things that make me happy...this time it was the masking! Mence, Thanks for hanging out...glad to have you along!! Ron, it does look like a great set! I am comfortable with not having it on this one..."this one"!! Nothing is ever off the table with me!!

Maybe but I have to agree there is an awful lot of will buy among us that never gestates into the act of having to buy, so having is a little different from willing in driving model builders.

Forgot to ask..went back and had a look Tracey but couldn't find who produces that stowage - looks very Black Doggie....well? Correct Sir Dicky!! It is indeed a Black Dog Set! I was in the middle of actually writing a review of the set for Scott and Inscale.org. It's a short review but can be found here: inscale.org/public/?p=6357 of click on the picture... Hi Jeff - The PE slat armor will be from Voyager and can be seen on their site. Not sure when it comes out but they elude to this month! Deano - Thanks buddy! It is rather large in comparison to most tanks. I will try and grab another tank and show a side by side on the next update....should be later on today/night. Hey Boss! Thank Bro! Had a blast yesterday...where and when can you hang out with friends, shoot the Poo and build for a few hours!! Big thanks to Steve for being the probation officer for the afternoon!!

OK, nearing the end here. There was many little parts strewn throughout steps 27 to 34; grab handles, step, lights. I was slowed up a bit by another quick project and general life items...blah blah blah!! Here is where the big Cat stands for me... The lifting hydraulics fall next inline here. There are two different configurations for thiskit...one the IDF and the others for the USMC! Step 30 lays out the IDF. Not to bad of a constuction with these. A couple of few gates to be removed but the remnants are removed rather easily. The tops on the IDF version have two pice cover plates that need to be assembled. There are two different cover plates which actually can be used on the IDF version. This less armored protected and a bit higher but after consulting the "bible" the Desert Eagle Book, both are shown being used. The backs of the larger shield will need a little sanding and maybe a touch of filler for the joint but look pretty close. The rear plate could use 4 corner bolt heads, which I will be adding, but not necessarily needed if you don't feel like going that route. There was a nice little intake screen added to the set which nicely enhances the intake. You will notice a bit of filler on top. The main intake part is two pieces joined and the was a bit of a sink on both sides. I am not sure if this is common with all runs of the kit, but easily filled and sanded. So everything seems to come together quickly once the cab section is all done and you get past the armor and grab handles. Next stop.... The Blade! Hitting the bench for a bit tonight so this should move forward a bit. As always, thanks for hanging out for a bit.

Tony
Either its your building style or a combination of that and one superb kit, Im not a modern guy at all but can see Ill have to go for one of these, Those tracks are the best they have really raised the manufacturing bar with this one. Speaking of bars in looking at this type of armor it appears that some of the "Slat" armor is just that while the IDF seems to refer to the add on armor for the D9R as being "Bar" armor and looking at the pics id does look like round bars instead of slats.

Leon - Thanks buddy! Worked a little on the Blade last night! Pretty much the size of my Pz.II..LOL! Hope to have it together maybe by tonight I think!....all depends....you know how it is!! Boss - Thanks Brotha'! LOL...I thought about doing the USMC version...I think I was sucked in by the tinted glass and the pretty IDF girls!! Maybe the next go around?? Bones - Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, sometimes I can get drawn in by "members of the opposite genre" too!! LOL!! There is some busy stuff on her and a bit different...ahhhh who am I kidding? WHo doesn't like tracktors? I do find it interesting everything end up movable...ripper, blade, doors even the tracks fully revolve still. I wouldn't be surprised if someone doesn't mock up an R/C version of this! I seen the 'Bars' inn the book and, like most, have been labeling them Slat...either way it interesting just the same! You know there is some sanitation engineer pushing a mountain of garbage at some landfill in one of these humming out Ride of the Valkerie make believing he is somewhere dusty!!
