Here's the latest victim on the bench tamiya's little M151A2 mutt with TOW launcher. I picked this up cheap recently and thought it would be fun to re-visit the kit as I built one many many years ago! And as you know I do like building small vehicles! I won't be using any after-market stuff just spares box bits and plastic card, brass etc.

Looks like another fun build to follow... was thinking about getting this for my brother-in-law who served in the Army in early 80's.

Built this myself years ago (before PE and other AM spoiled my life) and I have to say, would do it again instantly!
It's still a lovely kit.
Cheers, Tobi

Pete, I know you said no AM, but SKP-lenses for the turning lights from, let's say the Bradley add-on, would look fine!

Hey Pete, looks like fun little project! Looking forward to following this one mate!
I remember the Verlinden and Shep Pane days, they both were a big influence on me then,

cheers guys the main construction is now completed and the model's gone for a wash before priming. I'm now rooting through the spares box for packs and stuff. Also trying to find a suitable figure as the kit driver is somewhat anorexic and very under scale. However there's not much out there for late 70's or 80's US figures so it may just go on a base by itself.

I have absolutely no idea why I haven't spotted this build before and can only apologise and blame Chris S!!! Anyhoo, I'm here now and want to say.....WOW!!!! Nice job on this little softskin....great lookin' kit with some very nice additions fella, she's gonna look great under colour No decent standing figures yer could place adjacent? Be nice to get some scale representation on this littl'un! Cheers Dicky, I am really struggling to find a decent figure especially for the late 70's to 80's If you want vietnam figures you are sorted but as this one never went there i'm looking for a plain figure without flak jacket etc. I do remember verlinden doing a few that where suitable for germany deployed troops but can't track any down at the moment. Quite frustrating that's for sure
