Yep ....I'm still amazed at what you, and others, can do with figs and horses. The pose looks great and full of action.

What can I say what wasn't been said ? Paul I'm a fan of your work, I like the dramatic pose of the horse and you really caught the action of it ! This reminds me of my own sculpting period and its inspiration you give me !

Hi all jackwagon yeah ill add all the straps after the horse has been painted, makes it a bit easier. Like the title ill keep it in mind Boots cheers matey, i thought of the dragon slayer aswell, great minds etc etc , the only problem with it is that title was used by the guy that won euro the year before last so i didnt want to seem like i was copying it Anyway so im out of the starting block with the star of the show George. As i said before, if i was going to make an accurate depiction of him, he wouldnt have plate armour, so im doing the fantasy version of him in full armour, no surcoat with just his shield showing the red cross. This is how the torso comes in the kit So the first job is to remove the sleeves I will have to extend the arms adding chainmail and the spoulders,(plates that cover the upper arm) and finally the pouldrons on the shoulder. Next i will have to cut of the lower part, below the sword belt so that i can make him sit the horse. All for now Paul

Hi all Im trying to get the stance right for George, i wanted him to be slightly twisted in the saddle, and with the lance stuck in the dragon i was thinking he would have to take the force and the weight of the dragon as well as the movement of the horse, all the time remaining in the saddle . no mean feat i would think, so ive done the first bit and made him look like he has been forced across the saddle Once the milliput has dried ill have to shape it then add the faulds, these were pieces of armour that protected the groin and the hips, and also the chainmail underneath. All for now Paul

Hi all Spud and T cheers Ive been working on the cuirasse, basically it would have come in 3 parts, the top part, Placard, which was a single piece, and the cuirasse which came in 2 parts front and back. Ive also done the sword belt out of miliput it all needs a bit of a clean up to get rid of the excess glue, but its getting there. The only thing ive realised is that i wont be able to fit the helmet until ive painted the face. Although the face wont be seen im painting it in case someone lifts the visor All for now Paul

Hi All jackwagon i used the glue for the straps and buckles, a bit to cack handed, stuck me fingers to it once or twice Ive been tackiling the arms. the left one was pretty straight forward i just kept it straight, the right one i had to bend at the elbow, so i had to remove the Couter, elbow guard, first. Re position the arm and then add it back again with a generous helping of milliput. I also used milliput to make the shoulders, these will have to be shaped when its dry and chainmail added Loads to do Paul

Hi ALL T cheers matey glad ive got yr interest ;D Eastrock cheers bud Dicky cheers mate, yep the lance will be in the right hand Boots thanks matey, i keep looking in the F1 box but i cant find the figure or the horse Speaking of horses, i have enough done of George now so i thought id paint the horse, just to get away from milliput for a while, Ive finished filling it and sanding it down but there were a few details i forgot. So ive added shoes to the front feet and also some teeth. Im hoping to get a bit of a worried look on the face, well wouldnt you be, and horses tend to curl their top lips when they are angry or frightened, they also have rather large front teeth ;D So ill prime and undercoat this then i can get started, I thought being George i would do a white horse Paul
