Fantastic PE and Zim work Bill.
As for all the new kits, wow that is a lot. No way you'll be bored now. It does take away from the bench time eh, same here with admin stuff.

Andy, I'm no stranger to PE...and this kit came loaded with stuff so I'm taking advantage of it when and where it makes sense to use it. All depends on the project my friend! Carl, thanks buddy! Bob, can't take full credit for those heat shields, they came pre-formed as part of the kit goodies so was just a matter of filing off a couple of nubs and installing them with CA. Joe, thanks as always, just a matter of time and patience is all. Rob, yep, been a busy bee but was fortunate to get in a good chunk of time this past weekend. Luigi, thanks as well, glad you're keeping tabs on things in all the usual places! Marc, oh yeah, couldn't agree more!

Good progress on this one Bill , she is looking great with the brass on .... are you going to paint the interior parts? Deano Thanks Deano! By interior parts do you mean the stuff in the engine compartments? If so, the answer is no since those hatches have been installed in the closed position. With the triple grills (intakes have 2 layers plus the 3rd PE mesh layer), it's impossible to see down inside the compartments, so there's no need for paint unless they were going to be displayed with the hatches open.

Hey Bill As always, it is a treat to watch one of your builds progress.
I think I have asked you this in the past, but do you simply reject kit tracks out of hand? Or do you have a special love for MKs?

Thanks Connor! Have to agree, the PE goodies add the bling! Boyd, thanks for following along. I've developed a preference for workable tracks because of the benefits they provide in the weathering stages, so it's become 'routine' for me to replace static tracks with workables as a normal practice. MK's are my preferred type of workables because they are styrene, so I can paint and weather them in the same process as the rest of the model. They also tend to be cheaper then Fruils, always a plus! Other than that, no particular reasons or prejudices against kit tracks per se.

Thanks Gary! Have to be a little careful working my way through the instructions since there are a lot of diagrams for the different versions. Already caught myself removing a part that was meant only for the Command Tiger and was just about to commit to glue before I realized it.

Boo, thanks for the kind words and hope this one does the trick to get you back into the armor world again...even if only for a little bit! Just remember, no chrome or shiny paint coats to worry about with this type. MF, Everyone loves a Tiger! Thanks for dropping in.

Thanks Phil! Have to be careful when wandering around the MSC, there are 'sweet' builds happening all over the place. Thanks for including mine in that category!

Phil, sounds like you made a good show table score! Happy to help by paving the way a bit for when you get to yours. Dan, that's always the trouble with adding all those shiny bits! The need to cover it all up with paint is almost a shame, but something that will have to be done. Can't have naked Tigers running around or Andy will go nuts! Thanks for the comments as always. Los, thanks as well, glad you got all caught up, just in time for the weekend's next round! I usually get my Atak direct from Poland through Jadar Hobbies, so you might check them out.
