I think it is little to early to make an announcement that I am going to marry her...

Andy, how many so called 'wives' do you already have? Great stuff Carl, love the colors and shades. And the engine looks very cool in the chassis mate! Cheers

Smashing work Carl, I would assume that it's a fuel filter and would more than likely be glass mate

Hey Carl, I have been on a hiking holiday for 3 weeks, in that time you did an amazing job, I love your motor. Here is a pic from a restored sdkfz 7 of Toadman, he is always very strict in his restorations, no glass here Keep on going Eddy

Panzer , wow , thanks ! Pete , I was with you on the glass theory . Alas , Eddy has a good ref. pic . Eddy , great ref . pic ! I was about to go ahead and put some of clear amber on it but luckily I was busy doing other things today . Thanks . I'll leave it as is . I'm not so sure that its a filter housing now . Maybe something to do with air system like a moisture collection / drain . hiking for 3 weeks , that sounds really interesting . Good you found your way back . Bill , I certainlyhope it don't come to that ! Thanks my friends !

Excellent painjob on that thumb, Carl. There a little overspray on the rest of the fingers, but with washes and oils it'll disappear

Painted the tracks with Floquil old silver . Its a lacquer based model rail roaders paint (I think ?) and it flows out nicely and stands up real well to oil washes . I got some mud (garden variety)smeared around .I'll bag it and ship it for $50 a pound . The bare plastic spots on the frame top are where I'll be gluin the gun platform .
