Well done on the paint mate, very smooth and uber shiny.
Do you get masks in the kit or do you have to improvise?

Are you kidding me? It looks stunning... I can't see anything wrong with it unless I am using huge PC monitor and a very good magnifying glass. Love the color red!

Thanks chaps...ya most kind Prof......you do get a whole mask selection in the kit but you have to cut each individual one out, if i remember you mentioned something similar yaself a while back on a build you was doing and i thought ferk cutting all them out...........now i`m having to do it meself !!! .......although i can quite easily compromise on a few of them Andy......ya snuck in under me radar then fella , thanks very much dude it`s most appreciated

It would make life a whole lot ferkin` easier and less time consuming i gotta say.....the other little niggle is that ferkin` great seam line around both of the perfectly smooth tyres , you seen those wet weather tread tyres you can buy..........ferkin` lovely.....but not cheap!!

Looking even better in the red Boots Those wet tyres you mention are very expensive I saw in a mag once, can't remember where, that you can use tyres from those 1/12 diecast bikes you can buy for under £12 and just junk the bike. You'll need to find the. Right size though

Bill, Jeff and Lui............thank you kindly fellas Ok a quickie.....tank finished, Logo and decs added and awaiting one more clear coat, the Yam logo was scary stuff coz it was a specially applied sticker and not a dec...........only get one go at it at this stage!!!, gotta say i was cacking it a bit in case i ferked them up or got them uneven(ish), a few small detail bits have been picked out i.e the small Blue box and decal, and another Black box with decal on either side...............the front fender is now finished and fixed plus decals added, if ya look closely there is a very thin Black and White decal which separates the Red and Aluminium colour on either side of the fender.........they were ferkin` fun...NOT!! The Aluminium colour on the tank runs thru the seat cowling and also the rear cowling so this will take a bit of time to bring it all together so bare with me, although it`s only a two colour scheme i gotta say it`s a mare!! Once then last gloss coat is applied i can give the tank a polish!! Cheers fellas

Faaanx mate........i might be a little longer than i expected tho, the red and silver stuff takes a bit longer than i thought with all the prep/rubbing down etc!!, was hoping to actually get something built in less than a Month for once instead of three

Dicky.....yeah i hear ya fella , you know what i`m like............i tend to plod along at a reduced pace most of the time anyway , thing is, i try and squeeze as much enjoyment out of a kit as much as i can........the stash isn`t much so it tends to make you appreciate the hobby a bit more Jeff......thank you to fella, the great comments mean a great deal

Thank you for all the kind words fellas............and the banter Was hoping to get an update this evening but the two things i decided to work on...............have ferked up!!!!! , my own fault for being too impatient..........resulting in the rear cowling and lower engine under tray having to be completely re-stripped!!!, gotta say tho that Alclads and masking tape are a tricky combo .......on removal it ferked the edges of the Alclad up!!!, maybe the build up on the tape edge is a bit too much and i`m removing it too early......i suspect this to be the case !!!!, i`ve re painted the rear cowling with a base coat of white and it is now ready for the Red...AGAIN!!..................lessons learned `eh!!
