Right nearly there so here's the base so far, I sprayed the tarmac using rust-oleum then made the pavement and kerbs from foam board. then added a steel girder in front of the kerbs. In Tilshead not far from Devizes and in the middle of Salisbury plain the actually lined the kerbs of the road through the village during the war as the tanks kept eating up the kerb stones!

There are still some sections through the village that even today still have the metal protectors in place so I thought it would be nice to include this feature on the base as well as show a wreaked kerb stone too. Not much left now just a matt varnish and pigments.

Cheers guys glad you like it Gary go for it brother but if you are gonna use aftermarket tracks save yourself loads of worries and get some fruils!
Well it's finally FINISHED only taken 5 months! anyway even with all the trials and tribulations it's a damn fine kit and I'm very pleased with it. Here's the final pictures,
