I managed to get mine off Ebay seems Rustoleum is the norm for anti slip now great work on the M1 Pete your doing a mighty fine job buddy i found the masking of the weld beads on the turret too be a real pain in the backside but it is worth doing in the long run Dan B

Very nice work, Pete. I think you've nailed the anti-slip. I tried the same method a while ago and totally hosed it.

Wow, this looks really spectacular! I love the anti-slip pattern and also the boxes on the turret back. I don't understand why some people diss the Tamiya kit saying the latest Dragon is much better, I think Tamiya's can be built into a very nice model, and your build proves it. Cheers, Christophe Cheers Christophe I totally agree with you there is nothing at all wrong with the Tamiya kit in my humble opinion

Hi Pete, looking real sweet mate! I built the Tamiya M1A2, yes I added some extra details but I enjoyed it. Can't beat Tamiya for ease of assembly!
Cheers JT

Looking better and better every time you post an update. A quick question... I am about to spray Rusto textured paint on my Chally tonight. How soon did you remove the masking tapes? While paint was wet or completely dry?
Thanks again for helping us out!
