I got some from Wickes....... There's great desert sand here available too Dicky, they even did an analysis of it once on the local news a few years back (it was a slow year!) and determined that it was made up of particles from the Sahara...so if you need something special for your next dio project, give a holler! Of course the postage on sand is a nightmare...and never mind trying to fill out the proper customs declaration forms!

nice work indeed mate, and nice stash of sand you got there, that's really useful!

Bill - send me 3 or 4 grains at a time and we'll outwit the customs vultures and save a fortune on postage Pete - Already have one fella You're a genious! Reminds me of the old story about the guy who left a construction site every day with an empty wheelbarrow and no one thought anything about it until they realized he was stealing wheelbarrows!

That's great Bill but how many wheelbarrows can I use in a dio??? Pffffft I'm not entirely sure you've grasped the issue here...... It's an analogy Dicky...the wheelbarrows in our little scheme are the envelopes! You never know who might be monitoring your posts...can't give the game away right at the outset! So that will be how many wheelbarrows you require then good sir?

Fine work all around Pete! I'm sure it will fetch quite the princely sum for a good cause, definitely a worthy effort in every respect.
