Wonderful job on the innards Todd, I really love your way of doing so many different little colour spots to please the eye. And a magnificent job on the stowage too. I've used Value Gear stuff on my yet to finish sherman II, and I must say that I agree with you all, they are really great and cost so little that I will surely get some more (I'm thinking of the Sherman sets)

Thank you Luigi!! I seen the Sherman set on FB...looks sweet!! Like this set, low cost and unless you are doing a massive amount of stowage, there is enough for at least a couple builds!! Well worth the effort I would say!

Sure, you should load a truck to use all of them. And it would be pure nonsense to use them for the bottom of a pile, they're so nice...
I still have a lot of the first batch I bought, wooden crates are a must have too.

Definitely not the largest update here but it is some bit progress. One thing I noticed with this kit was the lacking of the armored glass for the RG. I thought the armored glass looked really good on these little guys so I needed to alter the existing windows. After my good friend Adam (adampolo13) went to town on his Buffalo build with some of Alclad's Armored glass paint I wanted to have a go for sure!. Sad thing, I checked a couple places over the weekend and found NONE!! But, I did find Alclad's Transparent Green and Transparent Medium, a clear mix for using the Transparent colors. Now before I headed down the uneasy road to coloring clear parts I had at a little testing. Right to left I went full strength and then 10 drops of Transparent Medium and increased the drops of green by one starting with one...the third from the left is just the Transparent Medium. The first few samples were a bit uneven...you have to love the learning curve. By the time I got to the bottom left things panned out nicely I think. Finding the 10/3 mix appealing I went for it. Just to show how clear things came out I grabbed a small piece of paper lying around the bench... This opens the door for me to get the interior buttoned up soon and mask the glass and start working on the exterior!! As always, thanks for tuning in!!

Looks like the experimenting paid off...just don't blame it on the lacquer fumes! Nice looking ballistic glass there T.

My favorite stuff there Bill!! Worst one for us too!! Plenty of ventilation...I wish I could blame "me" on the fumes...nope, just this way I guess!!

Those REALLY looks great!!! How do you rate it against MM acrylic transparent paint? That's what I use for now...

Well I would rate it Mr. L but I have never used the MM. Might have to grab some and try! I was also still going to pick up some of the actual Armored Glass and give it a shot!! Figured this Transparent Green can be used on vision ports too so not a loss at all!!

I love the result, the green tone is spot on for armored glass.

Thanks Phil! More than just this use too..vision ports, polorized windows for some warships and I am thinking cobinations of the clear green will work nicely on patina on copper and other metals!! Time to play!!

Thanks fellas!! I was pulling this one to the front of the bench shortly I think!! Maybe some washes are on the way!!! Dicky - That was a bit strange...the D9 had both clear and the tint. The RG has two different window configurations (US & Canadian) and a pile of the gun ports and only one window is drilled out. Still trying to figure out what they were thinking. When I went-a-researching for the Canadian, they all have tint and ports all the way around. They must have measured the only one mad with clear!! LOL!!
