ha ha! you poor bugger!! Looks a simple fix mate at least you've broken the back of it. The colour looks a good match for the real thing.

Thanks fellas! I've been doing a bit of block/detail painting- pioneer tools, spare links etc. Almost cathartic after the earlier heart ache. Managed to find the missing light guard but the missing light I fear is gone the way of the great white buffalo I'll get some pics up tomorrow. TTFN P

Thanks Fellas! I'm going to try some spot filters later to bring a bit of tonal variation to this "beauty" P

Not quiet! I've decided to put this aside for a while ( maybe quite a while) - otherwise it runs the very real risk of being hurled at the wall This is the first one in a VERY long time where I can't see it comming to a productive end Thanks for all the encouragement to date folks- but needs must!( Sanity & blood pressure check) It will give me a chance to try and finsh ( or at least progress a bit more with) the Hummer. I've got a couple of figures in mind for this so that should keep me busy for a while yet.

If you feel this way, better put it back in the stash instead of breaking it into pieces It's likely that another successful build will wipe the frustration and let you finish the great work you've done up to this point.

Don't want it to suddenly develop unexpected ballistic properties there Paul! A little breather will do wonders for sure.

Oh, come on! Stick with it man! You knew what you were getting into with this... Heller kits are a 'female dog'! LOL!!! I'm still working on my 2 kits, regardless of the super thin sheet of PE and the crappy tires/wheels sent to me! Jeff

Completely missed this build. Cool stuff Paul, you sure lifted the kit to another level. Nice painting as well. Can't wait for the weathering ^^ edit: that's me again, not reading all the stuff . I hear you on the issues you had, I had to put the Stryker away for some reasons as well. Take your time on this mate, and no doubt this build will be back in full force ^^ Cheers

Sorry to "hear" about this... like guys said you were brave to build this kit and I thought you did it very well. Just take a break... spray a primer and start all over again whenever you are ready.

No worries there Paul, it'll be sitting and waiting for you when the time is right...who knows how long that will be, but it will be there.
