Thank you for all the kind words.......I am always humbled when fellow modelers have such kind words...... Here is some of the work this week...........yeah, I am sure it seems slow to the casual observer....it's slow when EVERYTHING has to be created the stinking tow shackles were the hardest

after reading all the posts and looking at all the pics, i had to sit back and collect my thoughts for a min. it stuns me to think how much skill you guys have that do this type of modeling. i really love the Ferdinand / Elephant and this is just too cool

I have been working on the tracks, the front glacsis, a German "C" clamp and a T-34 tow cable...

So here are some updates.... First the dreaded track links...yes totally scratchbuilt The tiger tracks are from the 1/25th Tiger....actually if you do the math on them they are 1/24th 1/23 and 4/5s...... just a scocsh big

Silver is particularly unforgiving when it comes to showing up flaws but at least you can decide what you should/shouldn't fix vs. live with! Shiny!

So I have been working on the figures for this dio, and here is the latest and semi greatest...... This is my KAR98 PanzerGrenadier carrying the ammo for the MG42 getting hit..... He is a work too say the least......and not in a good way The trick has been to impose "movement" on a non moving item

Well as you are about to see it's been a while and there are some MAJOR updates
There will be more updates, I even have the Battalion Commanders markings painted on the rear quarter....although it looks a lot lit the dive insignia....you know, Red with a white stripe...........

You've done some impressive work on this thing. Overall, it looks really good, but I do have to ask, how in the world did the crew get that cable on to the shackle? In the picture the shackle end looks too big to fit through the cable end. Just curious....
