Even EZ line has its tolerance limits, maybe the CA made it brittle when it dried? I had it happen a couple of times to me when I was rigging the Dreadnought...so I can only imagine the atmosphere around your workbench when it happened with the complexity of your rig! Still came out looking good in the end, almost home with this one!

My theory is that the hole in the mast kind of sawed through it while I was trying to position for the cut.

I'd just like to thank you for finishing this one after mine. For that you're the real MVP. The weathering is spot on.

Really enjoyed watching this one come to life over the last few months (hard to believe it was 200 days!) Doogs, a top-notch finish all around on this bird for sure.

With the exception of Revell's "Deals Wheels" cartoon planes I do not build aircraft. But I have scrolled through this kit build this afternoon and really enjoyed your techniques, photos, how too's, and your patience. Thank you for sharing. I hope to use some of the weathering process's on my car builds.
Cheers Eh!

Fantastic finish Doogs. Best SBS I've read on how to bring fading and chipping to life. I really enjoy your work and the detail you add to your blog. Congrats.
